Share your thoughts on the red carpet fashions here. There are a lot of beautiful dresses. I love Isabelle Huppert's dress. Taraji P Henson looks gorgeous. Ruth's Negga's dress is beautiful too. Hailee Steinfeld looks fantastic in a very lovely dress. Sunny Pawar is adorable in his little suit.

shareSo far my favorites are Taraji P Henson and Kirsten Dunst. Both simple black dresses but really elegant and beautiful silhouettes. I also like Ruth Negga's whole outfit including the hair and jeweled headband/tiara thingie. I guess I like strong colors. Black and red and metallics.
I am really tired of the "nude" color dresses, they have been epidemic for so many years now and they can occasionally look good but more often they wash the woman out, especially if she is pale. ( i.e. Felicity Jones dress falls in the second group)
Guliana Rancic (or however you spell it) looks like she stole the president's spray tan. She is just WAY too orange.

shareJanelle Monae also has a cool golden headband. I kind of like the mini trend of jewelry in the hair this year. For a lot of years, everyone has been so minimalist with just the gown and like NO accessories. I mean if you can't deck yourself in jewelry at the Oscars, then when CAN you do it?

Scarlett Johansson: I like the top but not crazy about the skirt. The non-matching pinks bother me, it makes the skirt just look dirty. I think it would be perfect if the skirt was the same fabric as the top.

Emma Stone, I like it from the neck to the knees, but then that fringe from the knees down is a nope for me.
Alicia Vikander looks beautiful. I don't really care for Halle Berry's dress or Nicole Kidman's.

beige/nude dress, beading, lots of sheer. Yawn, That is the same formula that too many actresses have been wearing for too many years.
Alicia Vikander's dress has a wonderful neckline. I really like that sweeetheart/ off the shoulder/corset top look.
I was going to comment on Vikander, she looks so hot.
