Why are people so upset? Disney has been doing this for ages now ...

Even star wars was made for china, they are very busy sucking chinese micro cock but people act upset, if its blatantly in their face for 90 minutes. talk about double standards

its all politics - money and power my dear boy - the white man is upset they can no longer control and use and abuse china anymore like before - china has become too big for its boots and we need to bring it down a notch and put it back into line like all the other countries we use and abuse to benefit ourselves.

i agree with you that it's all about money, but china is NOT getting too big for it's shoes. china is still the slave of the "white man" whoever that is. why are we producing everything there? because they are paid as much a slave and have similar rights.

Oh i agree, china can't take on the west that's for sure - but its become too big for its boot in its own back yard - we should be able to go into China to do drone strikes whenever we want and send the aircraft carriers onto the shore and shoot some missiles at it when we want to threaten it but we can't anymore - China can't bomb us back at home as yet but its starting to turn the tables near its own shores which is a threat our bullying/intimidation, so we got to use any excuse to get it back into its own country and stay quiet and do as its told.

Every empire starts by piggybacking on the back of the last one, the USA empire started on the back of the British empire during world war 2.

There been many movies that had pandered to china in hopes of getting the money flowing back to the west, this isn't the first or the last - this boycott is just a where the wind comes from fad.

If trump got a good trade deal in favour of the USA, the boycott would have never existed because you wouldn't have ever heard democracy mentioned in Hong Kong from the western propaganda media.

Other movies have pandered to China, but most of the stuff I read is upset on this one because the lead actress (allegedly) supports the Chinese government's tyrannical policies and the film directly contributed to the profits of that government and its oppressive regime.

It's one thing to throw a scene into an Avengers movie with a cameo from an actor who is famous in China, it's another thing to split some of the profits with a corrupt government.

Not that Disney itself is squeaky clean in the human rights abuses category...
