Cop Interaction Certainly Not USA

Cops approach and deal with folks without drawing their sidearm. They don't wear Kevlar. One of the first things that caught my attention was how the cop, in the middle of the night in a cemetery, doesn't have his pistol drawn and doesn't seem the least bit intimidated by muddy naked people approaching suddenly out of the bushes.

If the show was made in the USA, the cops would have 3 or 4 backups, dogs and riot gear. They would shoot the naked folks because they were approaching. They would at least have their weapons out. Someone would have been tased for sure.

You see it in so many scenes where the lead actor never draws and until he shoots Vic, he's never drawn his firearm the entire series. That was only the 2nd shot in the entire series, the 1st being Vic shooting the trailer, missing a guy 6 feet ahead of him by at least 6 feet to the left.

This wins the award for dumbest comment/thread I've read all day.

This is also a small town. Big difference between small town and big city cops.

And I don't know about you, but I don't make it a habit of seeing police in action in real life. My only exposure to cops "on the job" (ie, not having lunch or directing traffic for a race) is on TV(fiction), the show Cops(arguably also mostly fiction), and when I've been pulled over in traffic.

I can't say I've ever in my life seen a cop doing real police work in person...I live in the suburbs and not far from Detroit, so it's not like I live under a rock but I have no idea how often American police draw their weapon....so I am guessing you are also basing your knowledge of how police behave based on TV.

This is a small town in the middle of nowhere. Also, Australia has very strict gun regulations. And in any country, it's quite difficult for naked people to hide guns in their invisible clothes.
