Krang just didn't felt right

The teleport to the Krang World. How fast Shredder accepted. How no one even questions the Krang. How did Donnie get the Technodrome info AND commanding officer Krang like that *snaps finger*. Very odd. Also the betrayal of Krang...COME ON SHREDDER. Do you trust anyone you don't know and looks alien? WHY?

Just make another Shredder movie without Krang, but with some Krang gadgets would have made it better.

They should have called him Commander Hubba bubba it would have fit. I grew up with the turtles but maybe its cause im old now I just thought Krang and the morons beebob and rockstedy could have been removed.

There were several plotlines.

reply

...sure. They should have given the Krang more time to be integrated. Rush job and not well done.

yeah i get what you mean no explanation he meets an alien for the first time and accepts? it was a mistake him teleporting there so how did krang even know hed appear?

reply

Agreed this movie was poorly written even though the effects were nice

I can never tell when I am reading someones signature.

I myself couldn't stop hearing Lobo from the Superman Cartoons everytime Krang spoke. Just not the right voice for Krang IMO.

But yeah, Donnatello pulling up the info on the Technodrome and Krang was a complete rush job. As is Shredders motivations, I guess the whole thing was a rush job in favour of flashy sequences.

It is a movie for kids about turtles who are also ninjas. The very premise is ridiculous.

Idk at times it went dark then campy..then dark (repeat)

Had they stuck to one theme or another the film would have paced well. It is a enjoyable ride....but I would be lying if I didn't want to see a somber/gritty turtle film especially krang.

Just the character itself within the robot is menacing to look at.

So is the premise of the intergalactic adventures of a talking raccoon and his talking tree buddy, and that sh!t was tight.

Logan, buddy. It's me, Deadpool! I shot youuuuuu....

Even so, the filmmakers still could have found a stronger balance between the "silly" and the "serious." For big budget action films meant to appeal to all audiences, the last two films have just felt incredibly cheap and lazy, from the design of the Turtles to the motivations of the villains to Megan Fox's April. And then the idea of Brad Garrett voicing Krang feels so obvious and detracts from his effectiveness.

"KatTS" / "KoC" / "DP" / "SAM" / "K"

Krang is Awesome don't get me wrong. The way i see it, They could've save him & the Technodrome for the 3rd TMNT film (if any) and focus more on the Shredder, foot clan, Bebop and Rocksteady, even Stockman (later turned into a fly) and (if any) mousers.

I hated the first movie more myself. Don't actually quite understand your arguments here. Because having Krang and bebop and rocksteady made it more like the original 80s cartoon than the first movie did. And aside from the technodrome flying instead of tunneling underground on tank wheel, Krang was done about the same. He just didnt have the little chomping machines running around in the sewer eating everything. Shredder and his storyline from the first movie was done so inaccurately I don't think I could handle seeing a movie with nothing but him. With his and yamato yoshi's backstory being non existent in the movie remake it really makes no sense to have him as the turtles main nemesis.

Donnie got the technodrome info by using his genius and hacked into it wirelessly. It showed this in the movie. And if you were the shredder, you telling me you wouldnt jump at what you think would be a sure way to defeat the turtles, by teaming with Krang? Their villians they'll do whatever is necessary and deal with the details and betraying eachother later on. That's how most villians tend to work. It's not a matter of trusting eachother, but using eachother to reach their own goals.

Maybe if you weren't thinking so hard trying to come up with illogical reason to complain about the movie, you would've payed more attention to the movie itself and realized the similarities between this and the original. Unless of course you weren't even around to see the original series, comics or nintendo games. Then you have nothing you should be bitching about.

Just like transformers, you need to turn your brain off to enjoy a *beep* movie like this one. For me, TMNT and Godzilla are the only 2 franchises that I give it a pass because I am a huge fan since my childhood. I returned from my childhood with this movie, it's like a long cartoon episode. The humans characters are terrible, jesus, it was hard to watch them. That first scene with Megan Fox trying to act as a "nerd" girl? Man, that was so awkward. Megan Fox is the one that "didn't felt right", that's the reality, lol Anyone can see that she has no talent, zero. Same goes for Amell. Krang is just a cartoon made with CGi, he had a much better "performance" than these lifeless dummies.
