I really like this show, but I will call them out on trying to milk the *beep* out of Ledger's Joker, from everything Jerome says/does, even to bringing his flunkie from The Dark Knight.
I don't follow ratings, but if they really have dropped, this would be a reason why.

He's the joker that's the mixture of all other screen and comic versions combined. Everyone has a different "favorite" version of the joker, and no matter which joker you like, people see that version of him in Jerome.
Personally i don't get the hype behind HL Joker. He was okay. Jack Nicholson was my favorite. Jared Leto was pretty good too. I like Jeromes too. I like that he's sinister but funny. The joker is a lunatic true. But he's a funny charismatic lunatic. HL was too dark.
