Where the black people at?

This movie should have been called Unfriended White People. SMH...
Were they racist or just the casting director?

reply

They were pretty horrific people all round. I wouldn't be surprised if they were racist and in an all-white clique too..

Black teenagers would've walked away from the computer before shht would've gotten too crazy.

When we're thinking about our own brain, would that be a mental paradox??

reply

Exactly. Most black people would have better things to do than be sitting around chatting **** to a-holes on Skype.

reply

It's racist to NOT have black friends? You do realize blacks only make up 13% of the U.S. population, yes? These kids could have been in any of the thousands of Anytown, USA with little to no blacks (and higher property values).

reply

Come on now. No self-respecting black person would be friends with backstabbing, cheating, disgusting people like this. They're aren't that many black folks in white suburbia anyway. To be honest, there probably was a black person in the movie but he/she was probably killed before the movie even started. You know black people always die first in horror movies.

why does it matter?

reply

Because people want to see diversity, don't you?

reply

If everything is diverse then nothing is.

reply

Huh?

Anyway, everything is not diverse.

reply

It's hard to explain. I adapted the quote from The Incredible s where the kid says "If everyone is special then no one is."

Meaning if everyone is special then no one is because we are all the same again.

So if everything is diverse then it all becomes the same again and then diversity means nothing.

On a different point, not all experiences in life are filled with diversity so movies shouldn't have to act like they are.

Diversity is fine and good but if every movie artificially injects diversity to appease people (who have become wayyy too sensitive lately) then that just sucks in my opinion.

The only reason race matters is because someone says it does.

Nobody is born a racist, they don't even know what racism is until someone tells them.

Either they are put upon and demeaned in a derogatory manner or they are the aggressor and the oppressor. Before that happens, race had no meaning.

Morgan Freeman was asked how we could stop racism. His response:
"Stop talking about it."

Wise words.

I'm white but I was raised around blacks and they themselves taught me to hate blacks.

Black kids aren't DUMB ENOUGH to be killed by/while on a computer. :-)

Q: What do you call a black person flying a plane?

A: The pilot, you racist &^%$#!

reply

No. Human beings prefer to be with our own kind. Fuck diversity for the sake of diversity. Give me a more cogent reason for it.

reply

Considering how unlikable all of the characters are, you would just be complaining about how the black guy was portrayed as an *beep* if there were one in this.

reply

Pretty racist to make a racist agenda out of something non racist imo. Yeah i mean you OP.
