Sure, the all package wasn't very good, but Parallel Monsters was top notch. The creepy satanic sexual bit and these scene playing on the TV (the crucified body burning) was so freaking weird. Unfortunatly, it deserved to be in a better antologie.

shareBoth Safe Haven (from VHS 2) and Parallel Monsters have very clever ideas that I wouldn't mind seen as feature films.
They both had a similar weakness though - when they used cheesy creature effects and got silly at the end. But if they could keep the creepy unsettling factor throughout (where things just ain't right and become increasingly disturbing), they'd make really good movies.
I agree this was by far the best segment here. The only one worth a damn, imo. I like stories that hint at a larger mythology without really explaining too much. They just show enough to give you a sense of the bizarro world, but not too much.
