S1 vs S2

I never got a chance to see season 1. But my sister told me it was an anthology and to start season 2 which I caught up on demand. I find the story quite interesting. Was the first season as well done?

I think more people liked season 2 better than 1 because it had more sympathetic characters. I think both seasons were fantastic, however I did prefer season 2 because I was able to relate to it more.

S1 was good overall but it took a few eps to get into it and some of the characters just weren't all that relatable.

S2 was sensational from the start. The acting, directing and writing were all sublime. Easily one of the best seasons of television I've seen.

I think S2 was arguably better over all, but the ending for S2 makes it a lesser season. Everything wasn't wrapped up in S1, but S2 leaves the main story arc completely unresolved. I actually thought there was an 11th episode that I forgot to record.

I really liked season 1. And I'm enjoying season 2, but these characters keep pissing me off with their stupidity and terrible decisions. Mostly Taylor. Everyone thinks he's so innocent, but all of this could have turned out differently if he would stop lying all the time. From the jump I was with him. I beleived him. But he makes it so difficult to be on he side when he can't tell the truth. Season 1 had similar character traits but I think(for me) it was more bearable because I couldn't really relate to too much of their struggles(other than being black). But season 2 I could absolutely relate to these characters and put myself in their position, so it just made me not even want to watch because it didn't feel real. Taylor was so back and forth. Idk, it really bothered me.
