Who tought her curse words? How she know about braids? She apparently knew what fake flowers where? And looking at the Barbie, she kinda knew it was wrong to look at the twat... And she knew that stuffed bunnies are awesome guardians.

The world doesnt seem to have exploded or anything, all the encyclopedias, textbooks, and whatever other books are likely still intact. Since they obviously have power via generator or whatever, she might even have access to a computer and thus CD/DVD data content.
Since they also have access to all the free housing, clothing, and preserved goods they could want, given that practically everyone is dead, they appear to have plenty of free time to read and learn. She's more or less homeschooled with a parent that has little else to do but devote time to her.
Doesnt strike me as all that odd that she'd have lots of diverse knowledge.
