What will become of Lalo?
I predict he will be killed by Mike. But this is based on nothing more than that's what I want to happen.

I'm guessing that's what will happen.....
But given I did not see Howard getting killed by Lalo........who knows at this point?
They are setting him up for a particularly gruesome exit.
shareGus.....& a boxcutter?
shareGus and the gun he hid in on top of the tire down in the meth lab construction.

You know, I had forgot about that. It's an example of Chekhov's gun, which doesn't necessarily always apply to firearms. But in this case it does.
Gus put the gun there. And he will use it later.
So Gus, not Mike, will kill Lalo. At least, I hope so.
And we know what Gus later does in BB to the last Salamanca.
shareHow is he going to be killed when he's mentioned by Saul in BB "Did Lalo send you?"

Ignacio is also mentioned and we know he's dead. Lalo could be dead and Jimmy might not know. Or the timelines could overlap. Or...who knows?
Jimmy may not know that Lalo IS dead at all. Lalo has a gift for disappearing. Jimmy may think Lalo is back in Mexico. Jimmy does not know anything about the Mega Meth Lab.
shareI heard from a very reliable source that Lalo will get killed in the final episode, by Irine.
shareHe wil be killed in the Meth Lab site, and it will be built over him
shareI don't think Lalo will die. He will just go off grid. If he was killed, Mike would know and he would tell Saul. Saul's asking if Lalo sent Walt & Jesse (when they kidnapped him) would then not make any sense.
share^^^
This.
But Gus confirms that Lalo is dead in S4 of Breaking Bad
shareI think Gus just liked to fuck with Hector generally. Who knows if he was telling the truth or not
shareHector would know if Lalo was alive. Gus was taunting him which wouldn't make sense if Lalo was alive. He mentioned his nephew being killed by Jesse as he was the last Salamanca which means Lalo died before that and it common knowledge
shareI've also thought about this... but remember that Jimmy mentions him when he's kidnapped by Walt/Jesse... fearing he's the one who sent for him.
Unless he's killed now and Jimmy is not aware of it?
It doesn’t make much sense for him to survive and reappear in the Gene timeline. The only way is if he fakes his own death again and everyone, including Gus, believes it.
Because if Gus believes he’s alive, he won’t be behaving as he does in the BB timeline, knowing that Lalo is out there somewhere. He would be paranoid and on a constant heightened state of security.
[none]
I just can’t see Lalo not dying before the events of BB.
We are supposed to assume that he goes into hidding for 5-6 years and not interfere in any of the events of BB? Not Tuco or the Twin’s death? Or the massacre in Don Eladio’s house?
He has to have died before BB.
The only other real option is that he gets arrested for the murder he was charged with and never leaves prison.
But that is really stretching and Gus made it clear Hector was the last Salamanca.
Exactly, theres no reasonable explanation for why Lalo wouldn't get involved in all the stuff that happened with the Salamanca's in Breaking Bad if he was still alive. If he went to prison i guess but that would be a very lame and anti climactic end for such a great character.
Its pretty obvious to me that he dies, likely by Gus since we're seeing how badly him being alive is affecting Gus' day to day life, and Gus and Lalo have been at each others throats since his arrival on the show, its only fitting for Gus to kill him. And yeah i think it will be by the gun Gus stashed in the lab, cause we still haven't seen that come into play and theres a reason they showed us Gus putting it there.
I see Lalo and Gus in the lab fighting and Gus will come close to being killed and he'll pull the gun out he stashed and shoot Lalo in the head.
