Kim's the big wild card, but I also wonder about Nacho. There's the line in Breaking Bad that hints he's still alive. But doesn't confirm. He could die in a way that's unknown to Saul. And I feel like that makes the most sense, that or he goes across the border for good

I don’t know. I don’t think she’s dead. His character seemed too upbeat and flamboyant in Breaking Bad. I feel if he was a man who recently lost the love of his life he’d be a little more solemn.

Like, if she's alone in a witness protection program, he'd still be thinking of her constantly, and of the fact that he'll probably never see her again.

That’s what I’m thinking will be the case. She may be the mastermind behind Saul in Breaking Bad.
As i said, he’s too flamboyant to be someone who lost someone, apparently, so dear to him. Think about it. She’s all he really has. He has no family to speak of. Pretty much zero friends. She’s his world. If he lost her i don't see him acting the way he does in Breaking Bad.
Or it could push him over the edge, and lead to him fully embracing the Saul persona. He made the spontaneous decision to transform in to Saul Goodman, lawyer after Chuck died. Kim's death could be a similar breaking point for him.
