Who was the homeless guy?

So who was he? Why was he searching through police files? Was he linked to the murders?

reply

Bet the scriptwriter doesn't even know

A wrong decision is better than indecision

probably a ghost or hallucination linked to the murders in some way

reply

I assumed he was a real homeless guy who she eventually murdered.

I read this in a chola accent.

reply

I thought it was the cult leader with a very long beard.

reply

Definitely no clarification on him. Weak mistake on the part of the writers. I assume he was the only "real" person she was dealing with that night. (He was real, right?)

What I don't get is why she didn't question how he got into the station, and nor did she question how the hell he got back in after she locked him out.

reply

well, He was quite unresponsive, so she probably saw it as being pointless. And figured he was just some paranoid-skizofrenic off his medication.
And wouldn't call it a weak mistake, sorry, because I found it quite paranoic to not know whether he was actually there or not, and even so im still thinking, if he was there, then why? Quite nice, when films make you a bit confused as to what is real and what is not.

reply

Remember those demons could manipulate objects and doors, so it can be possible they just unlocked the doors and let him in.

The funny part about it is he's the most interesting character in the whole damn movie. I'd rather watch 90 minutes of some hobo pissing on the ground, rummaging through old files, and going insane in an abandoned police station than this movie any day of the week.

Seriously, they should have just made an entire movie of the homeless guy. Just film him going weird and wild and experiencing hauntings and hallucinations and then go crazy on a bunch of hazimat dudes and police officers in a wild, gory massacre.

reply

At one point the dead dad calls her on the cell phone and tells her the man who killed him was in the station. So I thought he was part of the cult and the one who killed her dad. But maybe he was just a homeless person who killed himself bc the ghosts were screwing with him too much too.

reply

How did he hang himself, or remove his boots, with handcuffs on?

reply

Remember he was barefoot when he took a uri-leak on the floor, so where did
the boots come from? Possible goof? Too many fracking questions, what's real,
what isn't, ambiguities. Nice little film anyway. Great actress, satisfying ending.

reply

The cop found a pair of boots after she first encountered the hobo and left them outside the front door for him.
