CGI looks terrible
Can't get into this show because of how cheap it looks
shareIt's really bad, everything looks kinda blurry and fake. Biggest issue is that the action is over the top and whoever their cutter is, is flat out retarded. Everything's happening super fast, no time to process anything and they cut out a lot of build-up, skipping right to the action. In E3 for example, when they drop their bombs, the next we see is the target engulfed in flames... no tension waiting for the impact - will it hit? Was it all in vain? Nope, no worries, here have an instant cheap CGI fire boys.
Not thrilled by the show whatsoever, can hardly remember any of the characters either and do not care about them at all. In comparison, BoB's characters hooked me in episode ONE already.
Might be the same producers behind it - but it doesn't show whatsoever and the hype was not justified.
I think Band of Brothers was more successful in hooking the viewer because it showed a buildup where you followed the guys through their training in the U.S. and then the U.K. and it gave you time to see characters unfold. Here, the series opens in a bar with two ladies you never see again and then the airmen are in chaotic battles where who’s who is very confusing
shareExactly.
shareYeah it's unwatchable for many reasons
shareIt’s a bit too ambitious for the amount of CGI that is needed.
shareLooks like a video game.
