Did the Titans kill off all the black people?
This isn't an issue but I was wondering if there is a legit reason as to why there hasn't been a black person in sight so far

The setting is clearly one in which a cataclysm occurred in 19th century Europe (or a fictional analog of it) and where the survivors have barricaded themselves inside the walls ever since. Does having black people in a stunted 19th century Germanic culture make any sense at all?

How about we cast aside racism on this. Since it (probably) takes place in northern Germany that would explain why there are no blacks. Also IF it was racist then it would be all Japanese people.
Because a rotting undead corpse is probably a better choice than most politicians
In a post apocalyptic world in which cleverness and ingenuity are literally the difference between life and death, we wouldn't expect blacks to last very long. The Titans have ruled the earth for more than a century at the start of the film, so blacks would have been wiped out long ago.
shareBlack people do not fit in a medieval time period. There are no black people in Lord of the Rings either.
