Everyone is flocking to makes these movies since they are highly rated otherwise you are a racist if you dont like it. I cannot even name one movie about slavery or segregation that had a bad rating. This is because nobody wants to give it negative marks and be depicted as a racist.
This discussion is about "Get On Up', not " these movies", as you refer to it, and if you are not racist -- you say you're not -- you do a good imitation of one here. Everything about this movie is amazing. Hopefully people will reserve judgement until they see it.
If black people don't go to the movies how does one explain Tyler Perry's movies opening at #1 on many occasions. Not all of his movies but most have opened #1 or been in the top 5. Exit polls show those movies were supported by black people. I don't think too many white folks are into Madea.

Congratulations! You have authored the dumbest post I have ever seen on IMDb, and that, my friend, is quite an accomplishment.

I don't know about that. But, I'm getting fcking sick and tired of all these self-castrating white people and hateful black people, trying to make me feel guilty for being a white male. Why can't these people remember all of the great thing white males have done for society? We do kind of deserve the privilege we have. We weren't sitting on our asses, b!tching until someone gave us what we wanted. White men EARNED it. And regardless of what feminism says, white men cherished their women for standing by them and supporting them.

Wow.... now I'm no longer sure if the original post is actually the dumbest ever posted on IMDb or not...

And I thought the OP was an idiot. Do you even know the history of the United States Mr. we deserve it because we earned it?

longstock60, please prove you saw the movie by answering these simple questions:
In the diner scene, JB was not served what he ordered. What did he order and what was he served? And if you way you cannot remember then you did not see the movie. Those who saw it will know why.
Op, why shouldnt it get an Oscar you racist piece of trash? If it gets one you complain if the movie doesnt get one you still complain only to keep racism brewing!
