This movie was disappointing because I thought it was too easy to figure out. Obvious clues are obvious. The character's face is changed at the beginning of the movie. They won't show the face of the woman's lover. The sex change story. The mysterious bomber. All of it seemed to point to the same obvious conclusion and it kind of neutered the story (pun intended).
Did anyone else have this same issue?
Yeah, very predictable.
When the customer at the bar started talking, I could tell right away she wasn't a guy. From there it was kinda obvious as you follow the logical trail from there.
I still liked it, but didn't love it.

shareI guessed a few things, like that Jane/John was the bomber but not the overall connection. If you are an avid move-watcher it should be easy to guess a few things.
But it didn't made the movie any worse. It was a very good and enjoyable film.

shareI just didn't like that actress as a man, and didn't believe it for second. Plus her dialog w/ Ethan Hunt in the bar... morose, self pitying drag... who's smoking too much.
