Why would anyone ever watch this mess more than once?

This was mentioned in another tread but does anyone ever wish to re-watch something like this ever again? Honestly?

Even if you liked it for some reason, what is worth watching more than once? The action is nonexistent. There was very little intrigue and once you know the outcome, even those crumbs shrivel up. The writing was dry and witless. The performances were one dimensional. There isn't even any nudity to scan for or be titillated by with another pass.

Unlike Daredevil or other MCU entertainment, I have no desire to ever watch anything about this series ever again. It was one and done for me. Yet, if Jessica Jones would cameo in future Netflix shows, I do think that it would be pretty cool. Maybe it's not the character or the actress that failed but the writers?

Because a lot of people loved it and because you didn't like it doesn't mean it wasn't good or that you know more about movies or TV shows than anyone who did.

You complain that there is no action. It wasn't an action show and it wasn't advertised as such. It's a psychological thriller. Obviously if you expect action, you're gonna be disappointed. Because the Marvel logo is on the poster doesn't mean they need to make it an action show just to please the fans who want the same thing over and over again.

You say that there was no intrigue. You realize there was more of an intrigue than in DD, right? DD had no intrigue but was still a wonderful show. You knew what was going to happen all along, but I loved it anyway. Here, for once, we had a character who faced a real challenge that she couldn't solve with her fists. She had to use her brains. She couldn't just run after Killgrave, even if she wanted to kill him from the start. Anytime there is someone else around, he can just asks them to kill themselves and then JJ has more death on her conscience.

The JJ character was far from one dimensional. We learned a lot about her throughout the course of the series. But that's my opinion anyway.

The writers did not fail. You fail when you attempt something and you do not succeed. The did exactly what they wanted to, and were hired for, so how is that a fail? You just did not like it. Move on.

Consider the daffodil. And while you're doing that I'll be over here looking through your stuff.

Yes I do!
I'm probably one of this shows biggest critics and detractors but it still well worth a watch and legitimately has great moments.
What really upsets me is Jessica Jones easily could have been hugely superior to Daredevil SE1 but the writing was all over the place

What amazes me is the people who claim to have hated it so much, but still can't stop talking about it over a month after release.

When I hate something that doesn't really matter or continue to affect my life (like a movie, TV show, musical artist, etc), I don't spend weeks and weeks hate-bashing it...I move on with my life. I might make a snarky comment if it comes up, but I don't go out of my way to bitch about it. Life is too short to spend that much time on things you dislike.

Life is too short for IMDB

What are you talking about?
It's fine to be here enjoying yourself.
What's bizarre are losers obsessing over films they strongly dislike.
There are lots of films I don't like but they mean so little to me I don't even waste time to give them a bad score vote let alone use time writing paragraphs.
I suspect there are much larger problems in these people's lives than a film they did not like.

I'd only watch it a 2nd time:
A) If I was watching it with someone who'd never seen it.
B) I was marathoning it before season 2.

...otherwise 1 viewing is more than enough. The acting isn't phenomenal, the action is pretty bad, and there's so much inconsistent stuff that more viewings would just be madening. Kind of like how I went from "wow that was pretty bad" to "dear lord this movie is THE WORST" after Dark Knight Rises repeats

its clear that there are a lot of morons who actually enjoy bad tv.
