Longlegs comes along at just the perfect time to provide a realistic view of Trans life to a new generation.

I agree. All those recent Transformers movies that came out were fun to watch, but they did not provide a realistic view of Trans life.

There is no real mention of trans other than changing name from Dillon Monroe Buckley.

Well, the Longlegs character speaks like a woman and from the little glimpses in the trailer, they seem to dress that way too. So as Cage is a man, I assume the character is transgender. I wonder if there will be outcry that a real trans woman was not given the role?
