no love from guys

From the looks of the reviews on here, it appears that The Bletchley Circle gets no love from men. As a guy who enjoyed it I find that sad.

Absolutely not true. This is one of my all time favorites on PBS. However, if Susan is leaving they have lost my favorite code breaker, and I think the series will suffer.

I'm of the male gender, and I liked the series quite well, also. The women were so sharp and very brave, and it was just very refreshing to see a group of women solving these mysteries with almost no help from men!

My husband likes it and insists on watching it with me.

I have several shows that I watch regularly that he doesn't, but not this one.

Roland, that's a lilac bush!

I'm an American male, absolutely loved it and yes, definitely intimidated at the thought of a woman being so smart like that! LOL!

It definitely challenges the male ego, I must say.

Just watched the first episode on Netflix and enjoyed it. I definitely plan to watch the next to see the next two episodes. Period mysteries are my cup of tea.

I'm a man and I loved it. Particularly the first season was brilliant. Great storylines, acting, and level of tension.

Maybe poker's just not your game Ike. I know, let's have a spelling contest.

I'm a man and couldn't love it more! I'm losing track of how many times I've watched it.

Speak for yourself. I loved this series too.

I'm a guy. I enjoyed it. A little manhating in the beginning, but that's mostly fair. By the time the last 2 episodes came around, we see at least 1 good man and 1 evil woman.

I'm a guy too. And I absolutely enjoyed this brilliant little series.

With each day the number of people on my Ignore list is growing.

Am I the only man that found 'Marta'... Interesting?

The term 'Femme Fatale' springs to mind.
