Depends what you mean by "woke". From my viewpoint, I didn't see "woke" at all. Just a good suspense thriller.

Interracial relationships are pretty accepted and normal and have been for longer than "woke" culture existed. I'm trying to think of what else would be considered woke. That is such a broad term now. It's gotten really radicalized.

I do think it missed the mark with the ending, though. I thought she was going to walk away the victim, with the every kill, and the serial killer tag pinned on him because a woman shed a fake tear and said it was true.

shareSurprised no one has mentioned she tries not to kill women in the movie. At the end, she even asked the lady cop to get out the car. She killed the hippy husband, but wanted to tie up the wife. This doesn't hurt the feelings of the conservative anti-woke folks? LOL!
