Why batman spits on joker's face? Can someone explain it to me?

Because the Joker is a vicious psychopath and he deserves nothing better. Because there's decades of hatred(or twisted love in Joker's case)between them. Because it's awesome. And what Otaku Sempai just said is a fact not a theory. It's fine if your casual, but don't try to argue or deny a fact with someone who KNOWS what he's talking about.

Honestly some of the explanations on here are so far fetched. The reason is very simple, this is Frank Miller's 'goddamn Batman' and the goddamn Batman doesn't take *beep* from anybody, so he spits on him out of disrespect. Which is in character for Miller's brutish Batman.
