Wait did she make good movies in the past? This was good

Yeah... The OP speaks as if The Twilight Franchise can be mistaken for the highlight of any actor's career

Define good movies ???

By her own choice she likes to do these more indie type films or low budget as such.

You may or may not like them that is your choice.

I liked her in Spencer & Underwater.

💯

she built a nice resume if you look outside the big studio movies.

reply

She never did except Zathustra.

She is actually pretty good in this, though I can't remember seeing her in anything else. IMDb history shows that I watched her in "Panic Room" and "Into The Wild", but that was ages ago. Surely I'm not going to watch Twilight.

I thought this was half a great film. It loses it's way for me once it gets into the thriller side of the film. But I thought Stewart was good in it. That's the issue with her, is unlike Pattinson she doesn't steal the films she's in or does anything that different with her characters.

I thought "Spencer" was very good. I liked her in Happiest Season, but damn that Harper and her family were so dislikeable it just makes that film not fun to watch especially as it's a rom-com Christmas film and Harper doesn't deserve Abby in the end. Besides those two and I thought Love Lies Bleeding was actually one of her better films in recent times.

Post Twilight, I do rate "Still Alice", "Certain Women" and her two films Personal Shopper and Clouds of Sils Maria with Oliver Assayas.

A lot of her best work for me is is pre Twilight and during Twlight era. "Into The Wild", "Panic Room", "Undertow", "Adventureland", "The Runaways" and "Speak".

I don't think she's made a truly great film in a long time. I still think Into The Wild, Panic Room and Adventureland are her best films to date. With Speak probably her best performance.
