Why was it so hard to convict Dukhovich?
I mean the guy was a murderous dictator who killed by the thousands/millions. And he walks free if one certain assassin (Darius) doesn't arrive at the courthouse by 5pm? Bullshit!

shareIt's a joke making fun of action movies' "plot."
The movie is all about the bromance.
Dukhovich was even killed by a "This is Sparta" kick after his babbling speech, likened him to the self-important but unimportant messenger character in 300.
For starters, they really screwed up the concept of hearsay. The dude that had his family killed was testifying about things he saw. That’s not hearsay.
shareDid he kill that many? I remember the photos being uploaded but didn't think he was entering Stalin territory.
shareThere is a quick throwaway line that explains it. Someone says something to the affect that he's killed every person willing to testify against him, up to that point.
sharebecause no one had actual proof he killed anyone.
