Sorry, But i don't buy Pattinson as Batman.

Batman is a character who spend up to 10 years of his life traveling all over the world. Learning different disciplines like Martial Arts, science and deduction. That all before he becomes Batman. Pattinson doesn't look like hes done a single Push up in his entire life. His fighting is kind of weak. And then when he put on a Wingsuit. And he almost kills himself using it. You would think that someone who been doing all this training. Would train to use something that clearly dangerous and could kill him. But No. He just jump off a building without any idea of what he doing. Bale Batman was better prepared than this clown.

P.s. Infact i think whole Pattinson not working out was a issue during the production of this movie.

I like Pattinson as an actor. But he doesn't have the 'tude in his eyes. Or any measure of crazy. I genuinely wonder if this guy has ever been properly angry in his life. If he has, he's not able to tap that energy on camera. He still carries that same lethargic energy he had in Twilight. Which was great for an old bored vampire. But it doesn't work so well for the most motivated man on the planet.

I dont think Pattinson himself believed he is a batman.

I disagree. I thought Keaton was great but a bit too comedic. Bale was fairly brawny but he oversold the role.

Pattinson was a psychopathic vigilante right out of the gate.

If anyone was dressed like a Bat and beating criminal’s half to death it was Pattinson. Look at his eyes, stare straight into them, he always looks scared. You do know that the most dangerous man is the most afraid?

Honestly with Matt Reeves directing I'd believe almost anyone.

Let's not blame the actor and blame the director who painted the batman in that light as a skinny depressed character who lacks the charisma and willpower that Bruce has in the face of his trauma. I'm sure if Robert was directed by Nolan he would have nailed it.

Pattinson is not at fault there.

He had the gravity to play the character but should have worked out more as he's too skinny.

In the comics, Batman trained since childhood, not just ten years. He's a person dedicated to be a super educated fighting machine.

He is a similar character to Doc Savage, who came first, in that his whole life is about improvement so that he can do good things.

Anyway, all Batman movies, except the animated ones, miss Batman's character and the science fiction elements that make the character possible.

One HUGE thing that annoys me is that Batman cannot have a car in modern times due to traffic, lol. He would have to have a flying car, like Nick Fury has in the movies/comics, because a major city has so much traffic he couldn't escape or get places he needs to go. So, all the "realism" in Batman films is stupid.

In films like Blade Runner, the character has a flying car and no one cares or thinks the film is stupid. In some comics, Batman has such a vehicle and it works because everyone knows that superheroes aren't from this reality.

I would love to see a properly done Batman film.

I think the thing that everyone hates is that Pattinson's Batman hates his Bruce Wayne life. Similar to Keaton's Bruce in the first Tim Burton movie, Pattinson doesn't do much as Bruce Wayne because he wants to focus all his attention on his Batman life. He barely has any Bruce Wayne scenes. He hates his life as Bruce Wayne and is more himself when he's Batman. Similar to Keaton he's not given much of an origin outside of his parents' death. I personally enjoyed the movie though it went on a little too long after Riddler's arrest. But I can see why people wouldn't like it as it's more about Batman than it is Bruce Wayne.

Agreed.

But you just described every live action movie Batman except Affleck.
