This is going to be one of the greatest films ever made

I don't say that lightly, I have always kept hype in check. But I have never been as confident in a production as I am in this. And the reason for that was the selection of Villeneuve to helm. Yes the cast is amazing (Gosling in Drive proves his demeanor is perfect for this world, Jared Leto is solid in everything and I'm hoping he's a Replicant, and obviously Harrison). But Villeneuve is going to bring such life to this, he is an absolute genius. One look at the gas station parking lot scene in Prisoners and you just know that his aesthetic in this sequel is going to be incredible with an actual budget behind him. And the fact that he has already stated he's making it his own rather than just copying Ridley makes it that much more exciting and genuine. Not to mention Harrison said it was the best script he's ever read.

The hype train is real for this one. This will be one of the greatest films of all time, and I say that in absolute confidence. Mark my words!

With the cast and crew involved it could be one of the best films of 2017 at least.

What's missing in movies is same as in society: a good sense of work ethic and living up to ideals.

OP, you're setting yourself up to be massively disappointed if this doesn't live up to the classic first film. I'm somewhat pessimistic since I absolutely love the original. I know I'm probably going to nitpick this one, but I truly hope they can prove me wrong.

So the trailer is out! I have decided to not watch it or any subsequent trailers because I want to go in blind.

Does my statement lose all legitimacy with the trailer or does it look like it could be right? I stand by my words.
