Vangelis himself wasn't asked to score Blade Runner 2, and he's OK with that. "You can never repeat certain things," Vangelis says. "It's only once in a lifetime. It's like doing another Chariots Of Fire. It's impossible."
The score for the teaser sounds like a trent reznor remix of the original. I wonder if they just remix/re-record the OST for the entire film.
shareThe irony is that he actually DID do another Chariots of Fire - "Chariots of Fire – The Play: Music from the Stage Show". I'm sure he could have pulled off another "Blade Runner"!
