Is the Girl in This 12 Years Old?

I thought whole movie that she was some 15 years old child too. And was surprised they took a child with them on that dangerous journey.

But actress Cailee Spaeny is actually 25 years old! Was probably 24 when filming. Her height is 5′ 1″ (1.55 m). She is smaller than average woman and that's why brain thinks she must be child. Same with Jenn Ortega. I thought she was like 13 in Wednesday and was confused why she was hanging out with guys who looked like 25.

Same with Ariana Grande. Someone said about her - she will be 30 and still look 12.

Isn't that the point of her character? She's in her early 20's but certainly doesn't have the experience she thinks she has.

She looked like a 6th grader on a field trip with her little camera. Plus she caused the death of other characters.

She may be 23 in the movie and around that age when the movie was shot, but she certainly didn't look it. Until they mentioned her age, I assumed she was highschool aged.

She looks younger than she is but not 12 years old. Perhaps 16-17, a girl in her late teen period.
