Are there any Hetro's here

Just curious..if all of the responses here are just from gays. As far as performances...I have to say that all were excellent, but there were at least 3 that stood out just above that as I watched on DVD. First Julia Roberts, she was outstanding in that one scene where she is blasting the doctor in the audience. For that scene she deserved an oscar more so than for Erin Brockovich, but being that this is an HBO TV movie, she wont get one. Joe Mantello, at the beginning for his tirade monologue, and of course for Mark Buffalo. Did any of them get an Ememy or is it too early for that? As for Julia's character..was she supposedly playing that foreign doctor that I seem to recall during that time? She and another male doctor were always on TV talking about it and being interviewed by all the networks. BTW, the male doctor had passed away a couple of years ago, as I recall..in fact she must have too..Don't see or hear of her anymore..all in all a well done Movie.

I'm a straight ally - so you've got some (at least one?) heteros here. I agree about Julia Roberts. I'm not normally a huge fan, but she was better here than she'd ever been. Maybe it's because this wasn't really a vanity role, so she was able to let go of the beauty stuff (not that she wasn't still beautiful) and focus more on her acting?

Mark Ruffalo is always excellent, but I was most impressed by Matt Bomer. I knew he was a good actor, but wow, he blew me away with this. His physical transformation was nuts and he was just heartbreaking at the end. Ugh. I'm surprised he didn't clean up with the awards. He also had really great chemistry with Mark, which was a nice surprise, because that's always hit and miss.

"Hetro's"? You can't spell and you have no clue about proper grammar. What a moron.

"What would you like to see on your honeymoon, Mrs. Cord?"
"Lots of lovely ceilings."
