Why Alison always wear big clothes?

We get it, she's a plus size but putting her in giant overalls doesn't help her appearance at all. For a show that emphasize on fashions they always give Alison (coincidentally the only plus size girl) the worse clothings.

I can feel Sasha's lack of confidence standing beside the other four. In some of the scenes, watching Ali always appears to be uncomfortable as if the actress is not confident in her own skin. The actress looks better outside of the show.

It's also a bit awkward that her character was this very aggressive person who was extremely confident and reliant on her charm, but also her looks, whereas now the lack of confidence bleeds into the character. Having your hormonal struggles commented on while your show's designer team can't figure out how to dress you like a person can't be easy.
