Ugh ... a whole episode centers around Princess? Splinter

All of a sudden Princess is full-LatineX, speaking Spanish, and with a history of family abuse? I feel sorry for the poor girl who has to play this character.

reply

Throw some pity my way, too, would you? I had to watch this episode (and the last episode). What a bore. I thought the talking dead was a show that came on after TWD. Turns out, they've combined the two.

Talk, walking montage, talk, walking montage, talk, walking montage, talk...

reply

Enough with the walking through the woods. Enough with the splinter psychobabble. I WANT SOME ACTION!!!

reply

I've been fast forwarding through her scenes like i did through most of the almost as annoying alpha's scenes.Terrible actress.Looks like i'll be fast forwarding through most of this episode.

reply

I don't know if she is a terrible actress, but she doesn't have much of a part to work with.

If you were looking back through her scenes ... did she used to have a Puerto Rican accent and speak in Spanish before? Seems to me like that just popped out in the Splinter episode.

reply

This episode was genuinely a chore to get through. I think we've hit the bottom of the barrel here.

reply

I literally fell asleep during this episode, we already once had to endure some of the cast being stuck inside a train wagon and now again? Ugh

reply

I can see them making that decision ... "hey, we can just have this scene reminiscent of "Terminus" and that will make people watch it". The makers of this show ought to fired, or fined, or something for such crappy shows so far. I don't care if it is during the pandemic, these people are being paid lots of money, they have great jobs, they can do what they need to do to film the series in quarantine in Georgia.

reply

I dunno it was different so I enjoyed it but sick of the show leaving us with cliffhangers and then going off and focusing on something completely different

reply

me too

reply

If you think a whole episode centered around Princess was both annoying wait till you see today's episode.

reply

Oh please no. The whole deal with this expedition by Eugene was to find him a girlfriend, and some allies for defense, and they keep wasting time and dragging the show down with these awful boring shows.

reply

Imagine next episode: Alexandrians lock Maggie up with Negan in the cell till they work it out. LMAO!

reply

I'n ready for Maggie to be fed up kill Negan ... so tired of him, and purpose does he serve. I still cannot believe they kept Negan alive. Who would do that?

reply

I think originally as punishment but people realised he is useful. I mean he was able to infiltrate the whispers

reply

Negan was able to infiltrate the Whisperers ... true, but that is because he is not a real person, he is a fictional construct on TV. He could cure cancer or fly to the moon in fiction, but in reality he would be a cold blooded mass-murderer who has shown over and over again that he has no bounds on his behavior. Meaning, that if he ever got the chance he'd do the same thing again and again. To agree with the way Rich and TWD as an entertainment propagandizing entity did it, is like advertising for the kind of society that lets psychopaths run amok beside us - and that is how our society is today. Coincidence, or not?

reply

I mean this is a zombie apocalypse. If it happened in real life there'd be people like negan.

reply

Terrible, boring, pointless episode. Any interest I had in the character has died.

reply

I'm really starting to hate these filler episodes. I realize the pandemic set their schedule back but better to hold off than put these out.

reply

Yeah, these episodes with Daryl and Carrol are ruining the character and any relationship they had between them. Daryl treats Carol like dirt, and Carol somehow takes it. Daryl was supposed to the cool, laid back, nice guy ... and they are turning him into a real ahole. And Carol whose character somehow lionized the total lack of a personality so that she was able to blend in and flank whatever enemy and strike like a viper from behind ... she is behaving like she has dementia.

Princess is dare I say, less than 2 dimensional. This show is totally aimless and rudderless ... it is just a vehicle for advertising and for these pathetic actors to collect a paycheck.

reply

Did you notice in the Carol/Daryl episodes how they are "social distancing" from each other?

reply

No ... thought they were hugging at the end?

reply

This show has been a slow drip of story development for years. It's become a guilty sorta-pleasure I only watch because I have been from the beginning. It's gotten to the point where I can skip 1 or 2 eps and not miss any major plot events. Amc acts like it's year 3 of this show, not year 10 or whatever it is.

reply

Yep, it is the Zombie Apocalypse Soap Opera.
