Am I the only one who HATED Number 6?

Eveything about her seriously irked me. She came across as a huge, mega-bitch. She also had the stupidest, most arrogant-sounding lines--like the redbull one, and how about John being 'good' with his hands? Ugh. Just the way she talked made me cringe.

Her outfit (really, fingerless leather gloves?) and nasty smudged blue eye shadow all screamed "Look at me, I'm so badass, I can do whatever the hell I want!"

And the explosion? Please. I can forgive cliches if they work well. That was just stupid. I sat there the entire movie, wishing that someone, anyone, would put her in her place.

But I seem to be the only one here...

Demonka, I rolled my bloody eyes so many times when number 6 came on screen. I don't and never will like female characters who act mega tough for no real reason. She could've been badass but without the ill-mannered, stinking attitude. I was wishing she would get punched in the fookin' face AT LEAST ONCE damnit. That line "red bull's for pussies" got me laughing though, and I liked her accent.

well i dont' remember that part.. and there are alot of things you can interpret as flirting or dirty talk depending on how you choose to, sometimes it may just be in your own mind..

Yeah! Who does she think she is having an attitude over her world being destroyed, the last of her kind but 9 being exterminated and being chased all over the galaxy by fanged, gilled freaks that are trying to kill her?!?!?! She's got a lot of nerve!!

Number 6 was fun; I LOVED her scenes, but I agree he lines were stupid. But I'd much rather her over Sarah! Sarah barely opened her mouth when she talked and she seem throughly board through the whole movie, even in the action scenes when it took for her to make an expression.

But everyone (other than her) were likeable and fun. I loved the whole movie.

Her lines are written by somebody else and the way she dresses is by her stylist.

She's protraying someone else in the book so this is not really her that you find irritating but her character as number 6?

I like her as I normally like strong female characters, not many around these days.

I liked her because she was a girl, with really cool powers, and was a total badass. As a person? Um, I think she was being a total whore. I hated that 'good with his hands' comment. Very tacky.

Number 6 is Aussie (der!) and she is pretty much the embodiment of an Aussie girl who grew up rough, with only the local guys.

The "good with hands" comment was NOT a flirtatious line, it was actually an homage to Heath Ledger, who did a movie called "Two Hands", in which he tells the girl that "I'm good at doing things with these two hands," referring to doing jobs such as illegal street fighting, which is something most gangs get involved with. The actress who played Number 6, Teresa Palmer, was a fan of Heath Ledger when she was younger, and probably requested the line to be added.

Get your facts straight, people.

And when I went to the prescreen, the place was packed out, with people sneaking in and chilling on the steps. Everyone loved Number 6 from the moment she first blew up Four's old place, and were barracking for her when the Mogs came after them.

Don't make assumptions. It gets on my nervess.

She's Aussie? What the feck?!?!?!? I had her down as from the South, like Rogue from X-Men. The hell, this is some bullox. I don't get why she's liked at all, why should a woman have to be a total vulgar, bitch to be seen as strong? I hope little empty headed dingbat females don't follow this idiot they see on the screen, you'll get laughed at.

"You're good with your hands" is a classic come on line. It is far more like that it's use is as naturally intended rather than a line requested to be added to the script from an obscure Heath Ledger movie...
