Did she really make stool in the pie ?
Did she really poop in the pie ? Like she really pulled down her pants and made stool in the pie ?

shareYup and she couldn't have done it to a better person.
shareYuck who cares,lol.
shareThis was so disgusting. It ruined the whole film for me and still does. Don’t get me wrong - the mean racist chick deserved to be humiliated and needed to be taken down... but ew, wish the author would have chosen another plot device to make the same result happen. The scene was also a little forced. She just grabs the pie and starts gobbling the whole thing up. Did she have a tapeworm? She didn’t look like a binge eater. The cold sore was also disgusting. Did she get herpes from the poop? Yuck, ew, gross.
shareMy thoughts exactly, it really was disgusting and also put me off the movie. I know the racist woman deserved it, but it was too much for me as well.
shareWhile it is disgusting, I personally think it was brilliant revenge. She was good enough to cook and clean for the "White Folk", but apparently too dirty to use the same toilet, which she scrubbed each day!
shareI've read the book twice and I feel like a much bigger deal was made of this in the movie than what it was in the book. Hollywood exaggeration for drama, of course. But still...I agree. I thought it added some unnecessary grossness to the book and movie that wasn't really needed.
shareAt first I thought, "oh no! Minnie put a laxative in the pie, that's her revenge!" But then it turns out it was something far worse. I thought that poop was too much and that the writers had no need to come up with something so gross. But it all makes sense at the end of the movie. Without something truly gross like feeding poop to someone, there wouldn't have been something to blackmail Hilly with.
Also... it's entirely possible that there was no poop there at all. Minnie had enough revenge with only claiming that she put poop in the dough.
Indeed, it is enough that Hilly believed it.
Because I don't think that I could have done that even to a bully like her.
That is how gross it is.
I've read the book twice and I'm not sure she actually did put poo in it. When she relates the story to Celia in the book, it reads as if she just TOLD Hilly it had poo in it to get back at her. I don't think there actually was any in the pie.
