What's with all the cursing?
I could put up with all the silliness of the guns and such but the cursing for no reason is really jarring and just yanks you out of the film entirely.

Didn't you post this already?
shareI say f--k about a thousand times a day, so it seemed just about right to me.
shareSaying "F" "dash" "dash" "k" a thousand times a day must really cut into your conversation terribly. Do people often ask you what that means?
shareI agree with the OP - even with all the killing, these are fairytail characters - i was shocked by all the F bombs - they seem out of place.

Who says violence is not the answer?

You silly Bunt...
I have over 5000 films, many of them very rare and OOP. I LOVE to trade. PLEASE ASK!
I agree with you, bighalsy. I don't mind swearing if it happens in the heat of the moment. But here it was just used to make the characters sound more badass and tough. It was annoying as hell.
sharePeople who live the kind of lives the two of them live in the movie usually swear a lot.
Algalord arise greater than before
Time of peace, not of war

They spent better part of their teenage years on the streets, parentless, that's what I mean and you know it.

Lol! Too much swearing? Seriously?! My count might be a little shy, but I don't think there was much more than five lines of dialogue with cursing. You're complaining as if this was Scarface! Gimme a break.
shareThey should have had Joe Pesci in this. He woulda shown them how it's done.
Utah! Get me two.
The swearing in itself didn't really bother me, it's pretty obvious that this is a movie for adults so you can expect some swearing. Sometimes though, it did seem like it was a little forced. Hansel and Gretel, for the most part of the movie, come off as civilized human beings, which is remarkable considering they grew up on their own. The swearing didn't always "fit" in the conversation.
