Hansel and Gretel siblings yet sexual chemistry between them
They have more chemistry for lovers than siblings imo

My husband and I both picked up a very incest-y vibe, and we weren't looking for it. A bit too much touchy-feely, and some very suggestive looks between them.
When Gretel had her bad dream and reached down to Hansel, and he held her hand to his side, hubby turned to me and said, "Did I miss something? I thought they were brother and sister. They sure aren't acting like it!"
I don't care how smokin hot your brother or sister is; if you ever find yourself on top of him/her, and you don't SCRAMBLE to get away, something's weird.
I do really like the show, tho. Funny, witty, LOVE IT when Gretel head-butts the sheriff!
I did think that being close together for so long, they might end up becoming more intimate...and they did at least on an emotional level. But the same scene you speak of they made it a point to show that Hansel was sleeping on a cold stone floor rather than share a comfy bed with his attractive sis...so it leans to the argument that they kept their incestual thoughts in check by not becoming too close.
I mean their could have been stuff going on "between the frames" but why make it a point to show Hansel sleeping on the floor?
i did not notice that at all...
shareNo, I definitely noticed some sexual chemistry between them. Sometimes actors have it with each other and it seeps into their acting. It works great when they're playing a couple, but when they're playing siblings or other family members, you run into a bit of a problem. That scene where Gretel fell on top of him, that was pure sexual tension. I actually forgot they were siblings for a second.
shareExtremely close, but not really in a sexual manner. Yes, they were not afraid to touch each other but I don't see any 'bust out bangin' type of touchy/feely.
Now me on the other hand, I find Gretel to have a mild sexual appeal in that tight black leather outfit..."droool"...I lied. Would love to help her knock off some of the witches...and then knock off each other. Even straight chicks had to have thoughts about it...ya' think?
Let's face two facts:
The stars are very attractive and appealing. Hence the reason they were cast - for star power. Certainly the producers could have gone for two sibling types that no one would ever mistake for anything but affectionate brother and sister. Or, even cast real life brother and sister actors. There are plenty enough of them out there.
Secondly, people see what they want to see. Unless your libido has a bit of a dark side to it, you're not likely to see anything more than two people who have a lot of respect and love for each other.
My point of view suggested the director was going for just enough physical attachment to give off a spark of doubt. Some will see this, others won't.

That's the problem with people theses days you can not have male and female as close friends or bother and sister without weirdo's having naughty thoughts.
Not every Brother and Sister fights, argue, call each other names.. lol maybe when you're a kid but as you get older you do become closer and in terms of this film they only had each other, they were hunting witches and were part of each others lives from day one.
But those seeing sexual tension between them says more about you, I hope you don't have a brother or sister because Id hate to imaging what goes through your mind when you look at them.
People see what they want to see, personally It didn't cross my mind, if they wanted two main characters to have a romance then they wouldn't bothers with a bother and sister combo.

Both are extremely freakin' hot (i want both in my bed) and to be fair if Jeremy was my brother it would likely result in incest.

It's just your imagination.
shareI always sensed and got that very close brotherly-sisterly love between the two throughout the movie. However, that scene where Gretel fell on top of Hansel, it did raise some eyebrows for a second. But other than that, they had great chemistry regardless.
