There's No Defending Woody Allen After Allen v. Farrow (contains descriptions of what's coming up in PARTS 3 and 4)

This article tells us what's coming up in PARTS 3 and 4 of the DOCUMENARY:

https://themuse.jezebel.com/theres-no-defending-woody-allen-after-allen-v-farrow-1846326550

The first two episodes of Allen v. Farrow peel back the tabloid frenzy to tell the story of what happens to a girl who cannot trust her father, the second half layers them back on to examine what happens when a father leverages his fame and wealth and power to tell the whole world his daughter is untrustworthy.

It’s that part of the story where Allen v. Farrow reveals a side of Woody Allen the public is less familiar with. Rather than Woody Allen the diminutive neurotic, we see Woody Allen the steamroller—marshaling an enormous PR apparatus to his side and discrediting Mia Farrow as manipulative and vindictive.

Even now in the wake of toppling other powerful predators, a project aided by Allen’s own son Ronan Farrow who appears in the series with his own stories about how Allen pressured him to denounce his mother and sister as liars, many people insist that the Woody Allen story is more complicated than the rest.

Will Allen v. Farrow finally force those who remain staunch defenders of Woody Allen to confront the monstrousness of a man ... ???

So apparently the SECOND HALF is going to deal with WOODY telling the whole world that "his daughter is untrustworthy," and with his SON telling us how WOODY "pressured him to denounce his mother and sister as liars."

And it's also going to reveal how he "marshals an enormous PR apparatus to his side" as a way to portray Mia as being the one who is MANIPULATIVE and VINDICTIVE???

Imo, that's a much more of an accurate a PORTRAIT of ALLEN himself than it is of Mia (who according to her friend Carly SIMON was also the one who had her life MANIPULATED, CONTROLED, and BULLIED by WOODY).

In the next article that I'm posting here RONAN also explains how WOODY BRIBED MOSES to say UNTRUE things about Mia, and DYLAN also backs up that claim by saying what a troubled person MOSES is (due to the way that ALLEN MANIPULATED and BRIBED MOSES as a way to get him to say what he says).

Thus also making the MANIPULATION of others an ONGOING PATTERN in the case of ALLEN.

RONAN explains how WOODY BRIBES him and got MOSES to say DEROGATORY things about his MOTHER (by telling him he'd support him and PAY his way though college if he would do so):

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5768761/Ronan-Farrow-defends-mother-sister-adoptive-brother-sided-father-Woody-Allen.html

The 30-year-old journalist took to Twitter Thursday to shoot down his 40-year-old brother's claims that their mother Mia Farrow abused them as children and reiterated his belief in his sister Dylan, 32, who has said their father sexually abused her as a little girl.

'Not worth saying much to dignify the repeated campaign to discredit my sister, often by attacking our mother,' Ronan wrote in his statement on Thursday. 'This happens every time Dylan speaks, so this is all I'll offer: My mother did an extraordinary job raising us, and none of my siblings with whom I've spoken ever witnessed anything but love and care from a single mom who went through hell to keep her kids safe.'

He continued: 'Our brother Moses said the same thing in statements dating back many years. After relentless legal scrutiny of my mother's parenting—and efforts to discredit her—she was granted sole custody to protect us from Woody Allen.

We all grew up with offers from him to speak out against our mother in exchange for support. (He made helping to pay for my college education contingent on turning against her and lying. I declined.)

'I believe my sister,' Ronan added.

Farrow won custody of the couple's three children: Dylan, Moses and Ronan. Allen was stripped of visitation rights with Dylan.

Ronan in recent years has emerged as a respected journalist who won a Pulitzer Prize this year for his coverage of the Harvey Weinstein sex scandal.

In her viral 2014 open letter published in the New York Times, which opened Allen to a new round of scrutiny, Dylan, now aged, 32, described in detail the alleged rape in the attic.

'He told me to lay on my stomach and play with my brother's train set she recalled. 'Then he sexually assaulted me. He talked to me while he did it, whispering that I was a good girl, that this was our secret, promising that we'd go to Paris and I'd be a star in his movies.

Dylan Farrow responded to her brother's (MOSES) latest statements

'It's easily disproven, contradicts years of his own statements

My brother is a troubled person. I'm so sorry he's doing this.'

In other words, Ronan explains how MOSES was PAID to say what he says about MIA by ALLEN.

In other words, Ronan explains how MOSES was PAID to say what he says about MIA by ALLEN.

So in the DOCUMENTARY we have CARLY SIMON who explains how a CONTROLLNG, MANIPULATIVE, BULLYING WOODY ALLEN would TORMENT MIA by telling her she was an OVER THE HILL actress who was too OLD at age 30 to still get roles in other films, who ISOLATED MIA from her other friends and also refused to let her continue her friendship with CARLY.

And we also have DYLAN's TESTIMONY, who was also continuously STALKED and SEXUALLY MOLESTED by WOODY as a child, which has also been confirmed by an EYE WITNESSED to that FACT (including the woman who TESTIFIED to seeing WOODY with his HEAD in the LAP of 7 yr. old DYLAN who wasn't wearing any UNDERWARE at the time).

Plus the parents of other kids also complained about the weird way that WOODY would sit there watching DYLAN in the classroom while she was at school (perhaps to make sure that she didn't mention her abuse to her teachers)???

And we also have RONAN who Testifies to the FACT that WOODY tried to BRIBE HIM to say DEROGATORY UNTRUE things about his mother, in return for WOODY providing him with MONEY for his SUPPORT and for a COLLEGE Education (which he also explains was the SAME OFFER that was made to other kids like MOSES who accepted the offer).

And this FACT is also BACKED UP by the COURT DOCUMENTS that also reveal how WOODY kept trying to turn the kids against each other.

So what we have here is an ONGOING PATTERN of VERY SLEAZY MANIPULATION on the part of WOODY ALLEN that's also been happening for several years.

The Woody Allen vs. Mia Farrow story is also a story of workplace abuse

The HBO docuseries Allen v. Farrow argues that when Mia Farrow and Woody Allen were together, Allen controlled Farrow’s professional life.

The new HBO docuseries Allen v. Farrow is the latest entry in what has become a cottage industry of reexamining the misogyny of the ’90s and ’00s with today’s post-Me Too lens. The series, which explores the allegations of child molestation against Woody Allen voiced by his adopted daughter Dylan Farrow when Dylan was 7 years old, presents a compelling case that Dylan’s 1992 accusations were deeply credible — but that popular culture at the time simply brushed them aside, eager to believe a man as powerful and famous and iconic as Woody Allen.

Allen v. Farrow traces how the media of the 1990s largely followed the narrative set out by Allen. In a publicity storm of interviews and press conferences, Allen argued that Dylan’s mother, the actress Mia Farrow, had brainwashed Dylan into believing that Allen molested her as part of a twisted quest for revenge after Allen had an affair with Farrow’s college-age daughter, Soon-Yi Previn.

Allen v. Farrow is eager to reframe that narrative. It features multiple interviews with a now-adult Dylan Farrow as she reiterates her accusations against Allen, at times visibly shaking. It shows footage of a 7-year-old Dylan making her accusations, and compiles interviews from experts in child sexual abuse who review Dylan’s old footage and agree that her testimony appeared to be real and uncoached.

There was his money, and the lawyers and private detectives it enabled him to hire. There were the hordes of avid movie fans who identified with him, who worshiped him, who were eager to defend him from any charge of wrongdoing.

Finally, there was the issue of Allen’s professional power, and specifically his professional power over Mia Farrow

reply

“It was Woody’s world, and it was very controlled,” Farrow says of their 12 years of collaboration in the series’ second episode. “I didn’t have an agent anymore, because I was with him. I did not need an agent. He said I could share his agent.” Which means that Farrow was using Woody Allen’s agent — her boss’s agent — at the time that she was exclusively making films with him. Her entire professional life was effectively under his thumb.

And why did Farrow go along with the idea of only making Woody Allen movies and only using his agent? Because he convinced her that he was helping her out, she says. “I didn’t at that time believe I could get an agent,” she tells the camera. “Because I was old, I was in my 30s. I thought he was doing me a giant favor.”

All of which means that when Farrow ended her relationship with Allen after finding explicit pictures of her daughter Soon-Yi in his possession, and then went public with Dylan’s accusations against him, she was not only breaking up with her partner of over a decade and the father of three of her children. She was also antagonizing her employer.

So the story of Woody Allen and the Farrows is not just a story about child abuse and incest, although it is both of those things. It is also a story about workplace abuse. The power dynamics of this family were deeply shaped by the power dynamics on the sets of the movies they made together.

Intentionally or not, Allen molded his relationship with Farrow so that he was in control of how she earned her money. And when their relationship ended, he took full advantage of that position.

“He told me I would never work again in this country,” Farrow says in the fourth episode of Allen v. Farrow. “He said, ‘No one will ever hire you again.’”

📌📌📌📌📌

reply

Instead, Farrow took acting jobs in Ireland and France. She became a United Nations goodwill ambassador. She would have no major feature film roles in the US between 1992’s Husbands and Wives — the last movie she shot with Allen — and 2006’s remake of The Omen.

So what happened with Allen didn’t only fracture the Farrow family. It was also professionally and financially devastating for Farrow.

In 2017, Ronan Farrow, Mia Farrow and Allen’s biological son, published a series of investigations into accusations of sexual assault against Hollywood mega-mogul Harvey Weinstein. During those investigations, Ronan found that one of Weinstein’s sexual harassment tactics was to use his industry clout to blackball actresses who turned him down.

What Mia Farrow describes happening with Allen seems to fit into a similar pattern. Allen allegedly used his considerable industry might to punish Farrow professionally for making Dylan’s accusations public, in the same way that Weinstein used his endless resources and Hollywood clout to punish Judd and Sorvino for refusing his advances.

And in both cases, the enormous cultural capital that we as a culture had granted both men allowed them to wield their power unobtrusively, behind closed doors. They were able to get their revenge without having to say anything in public. Then their victims were left to deal with the fallout.

He created a situation in which he was her boyfriend, the father of her children, and her boss. He had all the power over her. And Allen v. Farrow shows how he used that power to MANIPULATE the public’s opinion of her and to make her life worse.

PORTRAIT of a TOXIC MANIPULATOR:

https://thepowerofsilence.co/12-typical-charachteristics-highly-manipulative-people/

What are manipulative and toxic people?

Manipulative and toxic individuals have mastered the art of deception and trickery. You might be deceived by their occasional kindness and fake ‘sincerity’, but oftentimes that’s just a well-established, attractive facade. It’s their own method of messing up your rational mind so they can easily lure you into their dangerous trap.

Manipulative and conniving individuals will make sure to get to everything they want. And on the quest for power, there will be no mercy. They will play the injured victim, distort the truth, they’ll act passive aggressive and will make you doubt every part of who you are.

These toxic beings are the people we should always be on the lookout for. That’s why, in order to gain a better knowledge about their manipulative nature, here are 12 common traits of every highly manipulative individual we need to be aware of:

1. THEY MAKE YOU FEEL GUILTY

The only reason they’ll ever be nice to you is just so they can get the things they need. They have no emotion inside them, so nothing they ever do is genuine. It is the oldest tale of make-believe.

And if you try to refuse something they demanded, they’ll make sure to bring it up and make you feel guilty. The guilt trip is the only way you could give in to their traps.

2. THEY DEMAND AN IMMEDIATE DECISION/ANSWER

These people are selfish and inconsiderate individuals. And with them, it’s always about “now or never”. There’s no “We’ll talk about it later” or “I’m busy.”

reply

Try to Keep in mind These PORTRAITS of MANIPULATORS as we watch PARTS 3 and 4 of the DOCUMENTARY:

https://www.psychologytoday.com/au/blog/in-flux/201610/9-classic-strategies-manipulative-people

Manipulative people have mastered the art of deception. They may appear respectable and sincere but often that’s just a facade; it's a way to draw you in and ensnare you in a relationship before they show their true colors.

Manipulative people are really not interested in you except as a vehicle to allow them to gain control so that you become an unwilling participant in their plans. They have several ways of doing this, as many of you will recognize. They will often take what you say and do and twist it around so that what you said and did becomes barely recognizable to you. They will attempt to confuse you, maybe even making you feel as if you’re crazy. They distort the truth, and may resort to lying if it serves their end.

Manipulative people can play the victim, making you seem to be the one who caused a problem which they began but won’t take responsibility for. They can be passive aggressive or nice one minute and standoffish the next, to keep you guessing and to prey on your fears and insecurities. They often make you defensive. They can also be extremely aggressive and vicious, resorting to personal attacks and criticism, dogged in their pursuit of getting what they want. They bully and threaten, and won’t let up or let go until they wear you down.

all situations and relationships are about them, and what others think, feel, and want really doesn’t matter:

“Controllers, abusers, and manipulative people don’t question themselves. They don’t ask themselves if the problem is them. They always say the problem is someone else.”

Crowding into your space—physically, emotionally, psychologically, or spiritually—is of no concern to them.

Undeniable Facts About the Woody Allen Sexual-Abuse Allegation

https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2014/02/woody-allen-sex-abuse-10-facts

8. Allen changed his story about the attic where the abuse allegedly took place.

First, Allen told investigators he had never been in the attic where the alleged abuse took place.

After his hair was found on a painting in the attic, he admitted that he might have stuck his head in once or twice. A top investigator concluded that his account was not credible.

So here's still more PROOF that WOODY ALLEN LIES about the matter ... even to the COPS ... who found EVIDENCE that he'd been there in the ATTIC ... where he also tried to claim to have "NEVER BEEN BEFORE."

In other words, due to the HAIR of his they found on the picture in the ATTIC where he said he'd NEVER BEEN, we have still more reason to see the reason why the JUDGE in the CUSTODY case said Allen is NOT TRUSTWORTHY.

10 Undeniable Facts About the Woody Allen Sexual-Abuse Allegation

6. Dylan’s claim of abuse was consistent with the testimony of three adults who were present that day.

On the day of the alleged assault, a babysitter of a friend told police and gave sworn testimony that Allen and Dylan went missing for 15 or 20 minutes, while she was at the house.

Another babysitter told police and also swore in court that on that same day, she saw Allen with his head on Dylan’s lap facing her body, while Dylan sat on a couch “staring vacantly in the direction of a television set.”

A French tutor for the family told police and testified that that day she found Dylan was not [wearing underpants under her sundress.

The first babysitter also testified she did not tell Farrow that Allen and Dylan had gone missing until after Dylan made her statements.

These sworn accounts contradict Moses Farrow’s recollection of that day in People magazine.

In other words, apparently the choice is to either believe the COURT TESTIMONY of these 3 ADULTS who were EYE WITNESSES to what took place (along with the TESTIMONY of DYLAN who was SEXUALLY ABUSED by WOODY ALLEN), or else chose to believe MOSES (who RONAN also explains has been PAID by ALLEN to LIE and say what he says in exchange for some MONEY from WOODY).

Here's Another PREVIEW of what's coming up SUNDAY night in PART 3:

Mia Farrow on Woody Allen’s ‘Horrible Lies’ and Ruthlessness

https://www.msn.com/en-us/movies/celebrity/mia-farrow-on-woody-allen-e2-80-99s-e2-80-98horrible-lies-e2-80-99-and-ruthlessness/ar-BB1ef1Yr?ocid=uxbndlbing

The series, helmed by the filmmaking team of Kirby Dick and Amy Ziering (The Invisible War, On the Record), along with their lead investigator Amy Herdy, includes testimony from numerous members of the Farrow family—Dylan, Mia, and Ronan among them—as well as interviews with neighbors, family friends, city and state officials, child psychologists, and troves of documents, all of which appears to back up Dylan’s allegation that on Aug. 4, 1992, Allen took a 7-year-old Dylan up to the attic of their Connecticut country home and sexually assaulted her. (Allen and Soon-Yi have claimed the series is “riddled with falsehoods.”)

Some of the more eye-opening evidence presented in Allen v. Farrow are never-before-heard recordings of phone calls between Mia Farrow and Woody Allen during their ugly custody battle. (A judge ultimately granted Farrow full custody of their children and ruled Allen’s behavior with Dylan was “grossly inappropriate and that measures must be taken to protect her.”)

In this exclusive documentary clip of Episode 3 provided to The Daily Beast, Mia Farrow describes what she calls the “horrible lies” Allen told during the child custody fight. Allen, in the wake of Dylan’s assault allegation and the revelation that he was conducting a secret affair with Farrow’s young adopted daughter, Soon-Yi, whom he largely raised, had sued Farrow for custody of Dylan Farrow, Moses Farrow, and Satchel (now Ronan) Farrow. “I also faced losing all of my children, because if Woody were believed that I was a horrible mother, what would have happened to all the other adopted children in the family? I mean, there was a lot to lose,” Mia Farrow explains in the clip.

Later on, we are presented with a snippet of a recording of a phone call between Allen and Farrow:

“Woody, don’t do this. Don’t try this. Don’t do this. I don’t deserve it...”
“You brought charges against me as an unfit mother.”

“And I’m gonna make ’em stick.”

In virtually all of the phone call recordings provided in Allen v. Farrow, Mia comes off as distraught and worried for the safety of her children, while Allen appears cold, standoffish, and even detached.

“He does sound very, very different from the persona we all fell in love with, that’s for sure,” Amy Ziering told The Daily Beast. “And if you listen to that and look at it through the lens of, ‘If you were a father that was concerned about a daughter that made up charges, would this be your line of questioning as a response?’ It was just striking. Really striking.”

Do you work for HBO or something?

No I most certainly DO NOT work for HBO or for anyone else either. But what's interesting is how the person who works for VANITY FAIR was also ACCUSED of the same kind of a FALSE ACCUSATION when they also tried to GATHER TOGETHER the FACTS of what took place:

10 Undeniable Facts About the Woody Allen Sexual-Abuse Allegation

For decades, Dylan Farrow’s claims of abuse at the hands of her adopted father, which he refutes, have been systematically distorted. The author of two heavily vetted investigative reports weighs in with the cold, hard facts.

10. I am not a longtime friend of Mia Farrow’s, and I did not make any deal with her. I have been personally accused of helping my “long-time friend” Mia Farrow place the story that ran in Vanity Fair’s November 2013 issue as part of an effort to help launch Ronan Farrow’s media career. I have also been accused of agreeing to some type of deal with Mia Farrow guaranteeing that the sexual-abuse allegation against Woody Allen would be revisited. For the record, I met Mia Farrow for the first time in 2003, more than 10 years after the first piece was published, at a nonfiction play she appeared in for a benefit in Washington, D.C. I saw her and Dylan again the next day. That is the last time I saw her until I approached her in April 2013 to do a story about her family and how they had fared over the years. I talked to eight of her children, including Dylan and a reluctant Ronan. There was no deal of any kind. Moses Farrow declined to be interviewed for the 2013 piece.

And that QUOTE from the PHONE CALL ... where WOODY says that he's going to MAKE HIS FALSE ACCUSATIONS STICK about MIA being an UNFIT BAD MOTHER ... also reminds one of how others here (for some strange reason) chose to behave very much like ALLEN does ... by also FLINGING FALSE ACCUSATIONS at others.

DOES his MONEY and the kind of POWER that it brings to him really IMPRESS you that much??? Because it doesn't IMPRESS me at all or make one BLIND to the MANIPULATIVE way that he's behaved.

According to what's been posted over on another topic here ( where what WOODY said has been QUOTED), ALLEN has told still another LIE about MIA ... due to the way the FACT is (according to what this other article has to say) SHE NEVER WENT to the POLICE the way WOODY FALSELY CLAIMS that she did:

https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2014/02/woody-allen-sex-abuse-10-facts

10 Undeniable Facts About the Woody Allen Sexual-Abuse Allegation

1. Mia never went to the police about the allegation of sexual abuse. Her lawyer told her on August 5, 1992, to take the seven-year-old Dylan to a pediatrician, who was bound by law to report Dylan’s story of sexual violation to law enforcement and did so on August 6.

Since it was the PEDIATRICIAN (not MIA) who reports WOODY to the COPS, NATURALLY, once again, one is left to WONDER WHY WOODY would keep TELLING so many LIES about what took place in regards to the explanations that we've gotten back from him regarding the SEXUAL MOLESTATION of 7 yr. old DYLAN.

Still another interesting thing to NOTE is the way what WOODY has to say is PEPPERED throughout with the FIRST PERSON PRONOUNS "I" "me" "my" and "mine," which some also say is a sign of one having a NARCISSISTIC PERSONALITY (which also explains the reason why in the COURT DOCUMENTS the CUSTODY JUDGE called him "SELF ABSORBED)":

(QUOTE]when I first heard Mia Farrow had accused me of child molestation, I found the idea so ludicrous I didn’t give it a second thought. We were involved in a terribly acrimonious breakup, with great enmity between us and a custody battle slowly gathering energy. The self-serving transparency of her malevolence seemed so obvious I didn’t even hire a lawyer to defend myself. It was my show business attorney who told me she was bringing the accusation to the police and I would need a criminal lawyer.[END QUOTE)

In just 4 SHORT SENTENCES ONE FINDS the following kind of EVIDENCE for his "SELF ABSORBTION":

5 - "I"s

2 - "me's"

1 - "my"

1 - "myself"

And a QUICK SKIMMING of the rest of what else was said also appears to CONFIRM that this is an ONGOING PATTERN throughout all the rest of whatever else he's said.

The Awful Intimacy of Allen v. Farrow

https://www.theatlantic.com/culture/archive/2021/02/hbo-allen-v-farrow-review/618116/

The fact that Allen, Soon-Yi, and Moses declined to participate in the show is unfortunate, and unsurprising; all of Farrow’s other surviving children were interviewed in the course of putting together the series, and all supported their mother and their sister Dylan’s account.

Since Dylan retold her story in 2018, Allen has been effectively cast out of the industry. Most of the stars who once attached themselves to his projects have disavowed him; his most recent movie was released primarily outside of the U.S.; his four-movie deal with Amazon was dropped; his autobiography was pulped by Hachette after the publishing company’s employees staged a protest. (It was later released by the independent-trade house Arcade.) There’s so little appetite to defend Allen

Ziering and Dick have made their name exposing institutional abuses of power and the ways in which organizations protect alleged offenders to protect themselves.

The challenge of Dylan’s story is that for decades, many people preferred to forget it, which, Allen v. Farrow argues, has affected her ability to heal. Her allegations against Allen complicate the legacy of a man who profoundly changed film—who normalized the neurotic strain in the creative imagination ...

But the charges against Allen aren’t that he abused his power as a filmmaker and Hollywood legend. They are that he fundamentally corrupted his role as a partner and a father. Think about the conflict between Allen and the Farrows (Mia, Dylan, Ronan, and their siblings) as a domestic one, and its fault lines and contradictions become easier to understand.

Allen’s films have always been a canvas for him to explore his darker fantasies, and the particular theme of an older man dating a much younger woman is so recurrent that it was tacitly accepted for decades. A whole generation of film writers watched Manhattan, in which Allen’s 42-year-old character dates a 17-year-old, and found nothing amiss

The tapes of Dylan are brutal to watch, and Allen v. Farrow recruits a team of child-abuse experts to watch them, all of whom testify that her allegations are both plausible and convincing

The tapes are included because they’re new, and they’re presented as damning evidence that, despite what Allen has always said, he did abuse Dylan; in truth, they’re extremely difficult to interpret any other way.

It presents Allen as a Hollywood leviathan, with fleets of high-powered lawyers at his disposal and a publicist who’d use any means necessary to twist information in a way that spared her client’s reputation.

Dylan’s motives are impossible to fault: She tells the filmmakers that she wants to share her experiences again so that others who have endured what she has feel less alone. She deserves to get to do that, and if more exposure brings catharsis, then so be it.

-----------------------

And here's still ANOTHER LIE from the other topic that WOODY tells, due to the way that he'd been seeing a therapist about his behavior towards DYLAN ever since she was AGE 3 (which is 4 YEARS before she turns age 7 and is SEXUALLY MOLESTED by him):

I had been going out with Mia for 12 years and never in that time did she ever suggest to me anything resembling misconduct.

"The cops" as you called them never asked Woody to take a lie detector test because they are not admissible in court.

Woody asked Mia to take a lie detector test, but she refused.

There are so many different ways Mia's lies would catch up to her.

And as far as a toxic manipulator, what do you think is going on when Mia adopts kids with no hope and no one to defend them, gives them survival and care, and then threatens to take if away unless they do and say what she forces them to under penalty of being cut off.

That is what happened to Lark Farrow, cut off and living in poverty she died on Christmas day. Of ten adopted children 3 of them died. That is a 30% death rate. Not to mention while she dotes on her own biological children she abuses, insults and uses her adopted children as servants.

He LIES about how he'd been seeing a therapist about his GROSSLY INAPPROPRIATE behavior towards DYLAN ever since she was AGE 3.

He LIES about how he REFUSED to take the LIE-DETECTOR TEST that the COPS wanted to give him.

HE LIES saying he didn't DATE SOON-YI in HIGH SCHOOL even though the DOOR MAN saw her coming and going while she was wearing her HIGH SCHOOL UNIFORM and the MAID also found USED CONDOMS and SEMEN STAINS on the SHEETS after SOON-YI visits ALLEN.

Which also reveals to us the reasons why the CUSTODY JUDGE called WOODY ALLEN "UNTRUSTWORTHY."

Can hardly WAIT to see PART 3 TOMORROW NIGHT to DISCOVER what else the DOCUMENTARY will have to say !!!

documentaries' revisiting of pop culture icons and their controversies "is less about convicting villains than it is about empathizing with victims. Humanizing their stories."

So what impact will "Allen v. Farrow" have on what's left of Allen's career? The Los Angeles Times calls the HBO docuseries "a nail in the coffin of Woody Allen's legacy." IndieWire says "Allen v. Farrow" could bring "cultural justice," if not criminal justice.

It's hard to say. You can argue that Allen, 85, is already being canceled. In recent years, Amazon backed out of a four-movie deal with him, and his original publisher dropped his memoir (it was later published by a smaller press).

Then again, whenever there's money to be made, a fallen star's career may never die. Michael Jackson's songs still blare from radios around the world. Allen's 2019 film "A Rainy Day in New York" earned $22 million despite never being released in the US.

Maybe it comes down to something Mia Farrow says in the HBO doc. "It doesn't matter what's true," she says. "What matters is what's believed."

According to these SCATHING REVIEWS of his last film it looks like Woody's career was WASHED UP way before this DOCUMENTARY about his MOLESTING 7 YR OLD DYLAN was ever made:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Rainy_Day_in_New_York#:~:text=A%20Rainy%20Day%20in%20New%20York%20is%20a,Gomez,%20Jude%20Law,%20Diego%20Luna,%20and%20Liev%20Schreiber.

Critical response

a middling screenplay, but A Rainy Day in New York falls well short of Woody Allen's best efforts

A Rainy Day in New York feels like a film born of profound creative exhaustion.

the film is merely Allen's watchable rehashed themes

unlikable characters and its "painfully pretentious and on-the-nose" dialogue

it is a barely watchable affair

Has anyone else seen it???

Is it as bad as these CRITICS say that it is???

"A film born of profound creative exhaustion" and full of "unlikeable characters" and "painfully pretentious and on-the-nose" dialogue'' certainly doesn't sound like something that is worth watching.

The following is a CONDENCED RECAP of a NYTimes RECAP of PART 3:

https://www.nytimes.com/2021/03/07/arts/television/allen-v-farrow-episode-3-recap.html

‘Allen v. Farrow’ Episode 3 Recap: Investigations and a Custody Trial

Filmmakers delve into dozens of boxes of records that documented the investigations into Dylan Farrow’s accusation of sexual abuse.

Episode 3 focuses on police and court documents, much of which had never been made public.

In the previous episode of “Allen v. Farrow,” the HBO documentary series that examines Dylan Farrow’s accusation of sexual abuse against her father, Woody Allen, the filmmakers introduced viewers to key video footage of a 7-year-old Dylan explaining events to her mother.

Episode 3 revisits this footage and delves into the investigations, court proceedings and familial turmoil that followed.

This episode is built largely off police and court documents, much of which had never been made public, including a trove of more than 60 boxes of documentation that was in a lawyer’s storage room.

It was Dylan Farrow’s pediatrician who first reported her allegations to the authorities, leading to investigations by the Connecticut State Police and the New York City Child Welfare Administration. (Dylan Farrow said the sexual assault occurred in the attic of the family’s Connecticut summer home.)

In an extensive interview, Frank S. Maco, then a state’s attorney in Connecticut, says that he intended to investigate the accusation “quietly,” but that Mr. Allen held a news conference at the Plaza Hotel, where he shared the news of the investigation.

Mr. Allen went on a media campaign, while Ms. Farrow stayed relatively quiet.

The inquiry by New York City’s Child Welfare Administration was being spearheaded by Paul Williams, a caseworker who interviewed Dylan Farrow and found her to be credible.

The judge ultimately sided with Ms. Farrow, saying that Mr. Allen exhibited grossly inappropriate behavior toward Dylan and that “measures must be taken to protect her.” The judge called the Yale-New Haven report “sanitized,” considering the destruction of the notes and the team’s unwillingness to testify at trial.

At the custody trial, where the footage was entered as evidence, Mr. Allen said that Ms. Farrow had asked her daughter “in a leading way about molestation.”

But after seeing the footage, one of the documentary’s interviewees, Anna Salter, a child abuse expert and psychologist, said that Ms. Farrow did not make any “overt suggestions” in her questioning. One “implicit” suggestion Ms. Farrow makes, Dr. Salter said, is asking her daughter if Mr. Allen took her underpants off. (Dylan responds that he hadn’t done so.)

“From my point of view, what’s important is Dylan’s response: Does she go along with the suggestion?” Dr. Salter said. “But she doesn’t.”

As Ms. Farrow says in a taped phone call between her and Mr. Allen played at the top of the episode: “Dylan’s a baby; how could you do that to her?”

Mr. Allen’s response is inaudible.

Was Woody Allen a close friend of Jeffrey Epstein? What a NYT report reveals

Years after pleading guilty to disturbing sex crimes, Jeffrey Epstein privately remained close with a number of high-profile friends, according to a revealing New York Times report. Among those alleged pals was director Woody Allen.

Epstein, who authorities say is a pedophile who sexually abused and trafficked countless underage women, showcased a large collection of personal photographs in his home, Stewart said, including at least one of him with director Woody Allen.

Epstein was upfront about his sexual interest in very young women: "He said that criminalizing sex with teenage girls was a cultural aberration

You just seem REALLY EXCITED about this DOCUMENTARY, so I was mostly just MAKING A JOKE.

reply

Use to watch PEYTON PLACE (MIA's first ACTING job) with my mom way back once upon a long time ago when one was still a young girl.

So watching this DOCUMENTARY is very much like watching that other show was back when MIA was also still a teenage girl.

Never sent her one of those letters that she said she use to get each day that would fill up a pillow case, but still ENJOYED her performance very much.

How about you???

Are you enjoying the show ACE???

📺

reply

No, not really. It mostly just seems like it's messy and horrid for the people involved and it doesn't seem to have any new information. I think every piece of information about this scandal has come out over the years. There are slightly new things like the recordings, but so what? What do they prove? Woody was cold on the phone while talking to Mia? I assumed.

The facts haven't really changed, it's just trotting it out again and a lot of arguing.

reply

Sorry to hear you feel that way. Does that also mean you won't be watching PARTS 3 and 4 of it??? Most of the info presented is NEW to me due to the way that one never followed the matter as closely as you say you did.

Here's still another article for others who are also not familiar with what happened:

https://www.thewrap.com/woody-allen-dylan-farrow-mia-farrow-hbo-doc/

The 5 Most Disturbing Revelations From HBO’s Docuseries

The Yale-New Haven Hospital: Yale Child Sexual Abuse Center destroyed all notes from its evaluation of Dylan

All notes taken during the evaluation were destroyed by the clinic and none were turned over to the investigators.

During the custody battle between Allen and Mia Farrow, the presiding judge ruled that Allen’s behavior toward Dylan was “grossly inappropriate,” that the evidence presented in trial established that Mia was a “caring and loving mother” and that there was “no credible evidence to support Mr. Allen’s contention that Ms. Farrow coached Dylan,” according to documents presented in Episode 3 of the series.

The judge also concluded that the Yale-New Haven report was “sanitized” and “less credible” because of the lack of notes and the authors’ “unwillingness to testify” at the trial.

In a separate investigation conducted by New York’s Child Welfare Administration, the caseworker investigating the claims against Allen, Paul Williams, had spoken with one of the social workers who evaluated Dylan for the Yale-New Haven report. According to case files reviewed by the documentarians, the social worker — Jennifer Sawyer — told Williams that she believed Dylan

One definitely also has to wonder WHY they would DESTROY all of the NOTES that were taken. And for anyone else interested ... PART 3 of the DOCUMENTARY airs in less than 24 hours from now... on SUNDAY night at 8 PM CENTRAL TIME.

reply

I am very familiar with what has happened. (To the extent that any "outsider" could be familiar with it inasmuch as I am not a member of the Allen/Farrow household).

reply

You forgot to say whether or not you plan on watching PARTS 3 and 4 of it or not.

And the MAIN POINT of this DOCUMENTARY isn't really to make others more familiar with what happened (although that's also a part of it), as much as it's to give DYLAN the kind of CLOSURE that she's been seeking for all of these years -- due to the way that she's never been given that kind of an OPPORTUNITY before (because of the way that very few people here at this forum seem willing to BELIEVE what happened to her or SUPPORT her account of how she was SEXUALLY MOLESTED by WOODY ALLEN at age 7).

Instead of choosing to believe her, what one finds are others suggesting she was COACHED to say what she's said by her MOTHER, or they claim she has FALSE MEMORIES, but the COURT DOCUMENTS also DENY that's the case.

And if it were the case, then one would also think after all of these years, and with her being age 35 now, the REAL MEMORIES of what happened would have come back to her again (especially with her having had therapy for the way that she was SEXUALLY ABUSED).

Anyhow, that's also why I CHOSE to BELIEVE DYLAN, because I also find what she has to say about what happened to her to be EXTREMELY CREDIBLE. And there's also plenty of other EYE WITNESSES that BACK UP what she's said about what happened.

PLUS there's also EVIDENCE that those who claimed DYLAN couldn't tell FANTASY from FACT were MISTAKEN -- due to the way the "DEAD HEADS" that she spoke about being there in the ATTIC were ACTUALLY WIGS that MIA had stored there (that she'd worn during her acting career). So whereas the people who examined her INCORRECTLY assumed DYLAN had made up the "DEAD HEAD" story she told them, since the DEAD HEADS were REAL, she obviously also DID NOT INVENT THEM.

And maybe that's also why they CHOSE to DESTROY the NOTES that were taken??? So that they wouldn't end up looking FOOLISH by what they'd said in them about DYLAN not being in touch with REALITY???

📌📌📌📌📌

reply

> very few people seem willing to BELIEVE what happened to her or SUPPORT her account of how she was SEXUALLY MOLESTED by WOODY ALLEN at age 7).

I agree with you ... and it's for good reason people do not believe it.

reply

I haven't decided if I'm going to watch 3 and 4 or not.

Dylan has written articles and open letters, published in the New York Times and the Los Angeles Times. If she's being muzzled, two major American newspapers didn't get that memo. She has had the opportunity to get her side of the story out, not to mention the cartons of ink splashed out by Mia and Ronan to give this version of events airtime as well. Not that this means she shouldn't get interviews done if she wants - that's her prerogative - but this documentary is hardly "Finally!"

As for closure, I think that would be better sought on a psychiatrist's couch or in the embraces of friends and family who can far better aid in mental and emotional support.

In either case, if a film is being produced to provide an individual closure or to get their side of a story out, they should probably not really bill it as a documentary or pretend to objective fact or history.

reply

Other articles indicate she was MUZZLED when she tried to speak out asking why what happened to her was being IGNORED when others began to speak out about their abuse. And how can she get CLOSURE if what she says is IGNORED by a public that says she was COACHED to say what happened???

https://www.eastbaytimes.com/2021/02/18/woody-allen-may-have-started-grooming-soon-yi-in-high-school-new-hbo-documentary-reveals-3/

Woody Allen may have started ‘grooming’ Soon Yi in high school, new HBO documentary reveals

‘Allen vs Farrow’ also looks at a theme in Allen’s films and possibly in his life: His interest in inappropriate love with younger women.

Allen, 85, and Previn, 50, have long maintained that their affair began shortly before Farrow found nude photos of her daughter in Allen’s apartment — when he was 56 and she was a 21-year-old college freshman. But “Allen vs. Farrow” suggests that Allen “groomed” Previn over a period of years, with his sexual interest in her actually beginning when she was in high school, according to a Daily Beast review of the documentary.

“Allen vs Farrow” directors Kirby Dick and Amy Ziering point out that Farrow discovered the nude photos of Previn just seven months after she graduated from high school. They also reveal court testimony from Allen and Farrow’s custody case that indicates that Allen and Previn had begun seeing each other when she was in high school.

“Both Allen’s doorman and the building manager testified in court to having seen Soon-Yi visit Allen many times during her senior year of high school and first year of college,” the documentary reveals. “Allen’s housekeeper testified she found what she believed to be semen stains on the sheets and condom wrappers in the wastebasket after Soon-Yi’s visits, while Soon-Yi was still in high school.”

Connecticut State Police investigators, however, thought there was evidence that Dylan’s testimony was “consistent” and “honest,” and concluded an arrest warrant should be issued. Ultimately, state prosecutor Frank Maco declined to file charges against Allen out of a concern that Dylan would be further traumatized by a trial.

After the molestation allegations first came to light, Allen went on a press blitz to deny abusing Dylan

This article suggests that WOODY GROOMED SOON-YI (who he's known since she was age 10) the same way as he did DYLAN and LIED about not having SEX with her in high school.

To be continued ...

reply

Please don't continue, none of this is new to me, you're just regurgitating facts about a scandal/story/case that has been well-documented since the '90s - one which I did mention I had read-up on quite thoroughly.

Dylan had articles published in the New York Times and the Los Angeles Times; I'm not sure what you're defining as muzzled, but when you can get an op ed in two of the largest newspapers on North America, I don't think that's it. Again, she was supported by dozens of people, most notably her celebrity mother and journalist brother, both of whom have been vocal enough that I don't know anybody who hasn't heard their words about it.

In fact, a lot of people I have talked to about this are aware of what Mia, Ronan, and Dylan say about it, but they are unaware of what Woody, Soon-Yi, and Moses have said about it, so I don't think any muzzling was effective.

Closure is internal, something for oneself. It only relies on other people inasmuch as one might confront somebody with a grievance, but if public opinion is something sought for validation, I would suggest that that validation will never come and will never be worth it.

reply

Sorry for the confusion. The article above and continued below isn't for you in particular, but is for anyone else who is reading this topic.

He famously told Time magazine about his love for Previn: “The heart wants what it wants.” In that same interview with journalist Walter Jacobson, he also addressed what Jacobson said was the common theme in his movies: “Inappropriate love with younger women.”

In Allen’s 1979 film, “Manhattan,” one of his most acclaimed works, the writer he plays is having a hot-and-heavy affair with a beautiful and willing 17-year-old, played by Mariel Hemingway. It turns out the Hemingway character may have been inspired by Allen’s relationship with a teenage model named Christina Englehardt.

The documentary features Englehardt saying she met Allen when she was 16, and the two became romantic when she was 17.

“It’s taken a toll on how I’ve been in relationships,” Englehardt said of her involvement with Allen.

Hemingway also had an uncomfortable time with Allen, she revealed in an interview with the Daily Beast.
said the director propositioned her and repeatedly begged her to let him take her to Paris.

Allen has often spoken of a paternal-mentor role he has played in Previn’s life, telling the Hollywood Reporter in 2016 how he provided the former street orphan with “enormous opportunities ... .”

the contributions I’ve made to her life have given me more pleasure than all my films.”

Ok. So ...What exactly has SOON-YI done with her life that's resulted in so called "ENORMOUS OPPORTUNITIES" for her??? Since she has no career, it Looks more like she's been MANIPULATED and CONTROLLED by ALLEN the same way as CARLEY SIMON says WOODY MANIPULATED and CONTROLLED the life of MIA (by refusing to let her work for other DIRECTORS or let her keep seeing her other friends like Carley). In other words, looks like WOODY ISOLATED SOON-YI the same way as he did MIA when she was in a relationship with ALLEN.

Also NOTE the way MIA is the one who RAISED SOON-YI (from age 7 to age 21), yet Woody speaks of her as if she's still a child who was raised BY HIM. He brags about how he's taken her to several CAPITALS around the globe which also has nothing to do with the formation of her character or with the upbringing she's already had from MIA. But WOODY still tries to PRETEND as if he's the one responsible for the person she is now (which also offers more PROOF of how CONTROLLING he can be).

reply

If it's for other people, start (yet) another thread? Why reply specifically to me with it?

How many of Allen's movies are about "inappropriate love for younger women"? Manhattan is the only one I can think of.

I know about Englehardt; I know that. I keep telling you that. Why do you keep repeating the same talking points over and over ad nauseum?

reply

If Wilk had sat in on a typical Yale investigating session, he might have seen one like the one I will describe to you. Get this picture. Mia and I are both sitting before three experienced, professional investigators in a New Haven office. Mia insists I molested Dylan, claiming poor Dylan was so upset by the abuse that she instantly went running into the next room and into the arms of her sister Lark, who she would go to for comfort. Mia described in detail how Dylan embraced Lark, shaken by the experience, and poured her heart out to her sister, who calmed her. I, cagey fox that I was, listened carefully to Mia dramatize the story to the investigators, and waited to play my ace. I said, “You’re telling me Dylan was so traumatized she fled weeping into the embrace of Lark?” Mia stood her ground, rubbing in the child’s need for succor by her older sibling. “Why do you ask?” the investigators queried me. “Because,” I said, rising like Lincoln ready to do his bit about no full moon, just a waning moon that night. “Because,” I explained, “Lark was not in Connecticut when you alleged that happened. She was in New York, so how could Dylan have run and embraced her?” An awkward silence filled the air and Mia, scrambling for a reply and thinking on her feet, says, “I know Lark was in New York at the time but Dylan embraced her spiritually.” This was the kind of tap dancing I was up against, and while it may have played to Judge Wilk and Mia’s base, it did not fool the investigators.

Was this meant for joi?

reply

Anyone who cares to read. JOI is nuts.
I am just reading Woody's autobiography and there is a long section about Mia Farrow in it that is full of stuff like this. Mia slept with Ronan until he was 11, occasionally naked.

reply

Apropos of Nothing was a great book. I loved how he found humour even at his darkest times, like that Lincoln thing. He's aware of how "Perry Mason" that sounds, so he highlights it for comedy, but keeps the story going anyway. Allen's a brilliant writer, no matter how creepy he is/ isn't.

reply

JOI has written pages and pages of BS almost totally major lies, but never bothers even once to tell stories that are the truth.

Listen to Moses, who was there and described things: “After Ronan finished law school, Mia had him undergo cosmetic surgery to extend his legs and gain a few inches in height. I told her I couldn’t imagine putting someone through the ordeal for cosmetic reasons. My mother’s response was simple, ‘You need to be tall to have a career in politics.’ It was, of course, a long and painful process for Ronan, who had his legs broken a few times and reconstructed to lengthen them. The insurance company didn’t see the medical necessity and refused to pay for it. Of course, Mia and Ronan tell a different story but that’s what happened.” The covering story handed out about Ronan’s knee problems, his walker, and months of reconstruction was based on his actual contracting of a disease while working abroad.

Ronan seems like the lunatic from "Psycho" with his mother obession.

reply

This lunatic JOI says Woody is a micromanager and manipulator ...

Mia always liked to change names. She changed Dylan’s to Eliza, then to Malone, and she tried changing Soon-Yi’s name to Gigi but Soon-Yi wouldn’t go for it. Ronan was Satchel, then Harmon, then Seamus, then Ronan.

You're right, another thread should have been started, but it also seemed a waste of space to do that.

In the DOCUMENTARY someone went to PRINCETON (where WOODY's scripts and ROUGH DRAFTS are kept) and studied them, and found MOST of them were about relationships with 17 yr old teenagers. Did you miss that part of it??? They go into great depth and detail about it.

Here's a LINK where they REVIEW PART 2 and show a CLIP of a SCRIPT from PRINCETON:

6. Princeton University has drafts of Woody Allen's archived screenplays, and a lot of them — much like many of his released films — are about a young teenage girl and an older man:

Again, this TOPIC and THREAD isn't JUST FOR YOU, but is for OTHERS who come to the forum seeking further info about the DOCUMENTARY. So why not simply STOP coming here and READING what it says if you already KNOW everything there is to know??? FYI, this TOPIC is also about WHAT will be DISCUSSED TONIGHT in PART 3 of the DOCUMENTARY.

MEANWHILE BACK to the ARTICLE again where it says:

Allen has often spoken of a paternal-mentor role he has played in Previn’s life

The other interesting thing to NOTE is how ANNIE HALL is also about Allen's relationship with a young woman (Diane Keaton) who he also encouraged to go to COLLEGE (the way that he also BRAGS about sending SOON-YI to college in the article -- even though he contradicts himself when he also claims that she was already in COLLEGE when his relationship with her began). So once again it was MIA who is responsible for her already being there, and then WOODY ALLEN also tries to take the CREDIT for it.

🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

To be Continued ...

reply

Still another interesting thing to NOTE is how MIA begins to SOUND just like WOODY does in some of the FILMS that she made for him.

Did anyone else notice this??? HER VOICE is WHINEY and she GRIPES and COMPLAINTS a lot -- just like we constantly hear ALLEN doing whenever he's a character in his own films.

So apparently his CONTROL of MIA became so OVERWHELMING to the point where her VOICE even SOUNDS just like it's HIS VOICE.

Has anyone ever HEARD SOON-YI talk before??? Since MIA sounded like him after being with him for 12 YRS. one also wonders if SOON-YI also speaks in the same kind of a WHINEY and BITCHY TONE as WOODY does all the time in his films.

The way that he GRIPES all of the time is also why one can't watch his films anymore, because his NON STOP MOANS and GROANS also get on one's NERVES now whenever one hears him doing it again.

In "MANHATTAN" HEMMINGWAY also WHINES and talks with the same kind of VOICE as well. So she was also picking up on MOCKING WOODY even before MIA also MORPHS into doing the same thing later on.

Therefore one also can't IMAGINE how the HELL poor SOON-YI has put up with listening to that WHINEY BITCHY TONE of WOODY's for the past 30 years without going out of her MIND hearing it all of the time!!!!

7. In the '80s and '90s, Woody Allen and Mia Farrow made 13 films together. Eventually, Mia didn't have an agent of her own; she was represented by Woody's agent:

"After a while...[it felt like] I was there to serve him," Mia recounted about her time making films for Woody Allen. "I went into that role and tried to be the best version of what he wanted. Funny, but not too funny; answer, but not too talkative."

9. Carly Simon said that she noticed how badly Woody Allen would make Mia feel concerning her career/talent:

"I saw, little by little, him eroding her self-esteem, him eroding her sense of self. He didn't like Mia to see her friends, he wanted to isolate her. I don't know what was behind his saying cruel things to her — whether or not he believed it or if it was a tactic to kick her down so she'd be more under his rule..."

12. Priscilla believes that Woody Allen spent a long time grooming Soon-Yi — "taking her to Knicks games, telling her she could be a model, giving her a part in his film, knowing that [she] was the one child who didn't date...and then inviting her to the screening room...something that he tried to do with me, [but] I didn't go for it."

NOTE the way WOODY also told both DYLAN and HEMMINGWAY that he'd take them to PARIS (offering BRIBES to them the same way as he told SOON-YI that she could be a MODEL and have a part in his film).

Apparently the only kind of a JOB that he gave her to MODEL for him was to POSE for those PORNO PHOTOS that belong in HUSTLER or in PENTHOUSE.

In "ANNIE HALL" poor ANNIE also finally found a way to GET AWAY from WOODY and went her OWN WAY in life after getting well from the therapy she had with her SHRINK. But poor SOON-YI still seems to be STUCK there UNDER his THUMB where he continues to LIE, MANIPULATE, and CONTROL her life the same way as he use to do MIA's life.

You're right: this is monotonous and repetitive, so I think I am done here.

Farewell.

reply

Oh God, would HBO hire someone who is so biased they cannot reliably read and report facts and no zero ability to critically think?

reply

There are definitely some very disturbing new facts coming to light about the Woody Allen molestation case but I always believed he was guilty based on the credibility of his accuser(s) and his own well documented inappropriate behavior with his & Mia's daughters. I simply don't have the cognitive dissidence required to overlook Allen's grooming of Mia's young daughter, who had called him dad into being his sexual partner. Crucially, Dylan Farrow isn't some Johnny come lately accuser, looking for a payday like almost all false accusers. It's the man's own daughter who has never wavered on this accusation for essentially her entire life. She is about as credible a victim as it gets.

reply

Well put TK. I completely agree with what you say about how CREDIBLE DYLAN's TESTIMONY has been regarding the SEXUAL MOLESTATION. And it simply BOGGLES the mind to see so many others who try to claim that the memories she has of what happened to her are FALSE and have no validity.

Allen's lame excuse about having her SUCKING on his THUMB because it CALMED her down was also ABSURD. The impression one gets is this guy thinks he can pull the wool over the eyes of anyone he wants to by feeding them lines of BS like the ones that have already been posted here on this topic.

And Ronan's TESTIMONY that WOODY tried to BRIBE him into BAD MOUTHING his MOTHER in exchange for MONEY for his SUPPORT and for his College Education also explains the reason why MOSES sold out and allows himself to be MANIPULATED by ALLEN'S MONEY.

So Bravo to RONAN for not be willing to turn on his MOTHER the same way as his brother Moses has done.

I also don't buy this other NONSENSE about how the 2 ADOPTED DAUGHTERS of SOON-YI don't speak to the press because they're being PROTECTED from them. Surely these girls must both be ADULTS by now with SOON-YI being about 50 and Allen being 85??? Because adoption agencies also don't usually like to adopt out kids to parents after they reach the age 40 something (and Allen was also in his 60's at the time of their adoption)???

FOUND THIS:

https://hollywoodlife.com/feature/who-is-soon-yi-previn-woody-allen-wife-3320105/

Soon-Yi Previn, 50, is back in the spotlight ...

They got married in 1997 and adopted two children together: daughters Bechet Allen, now 22 and Manzie Allen, now 21.

And this:

https://ibelievewoody.files.wordpress.com/2018/02/woody-soon-yi-daughters.jpg?w=740

This one looks like they purchased what they wear at some used 2nd hand THRIFT SHOP:

https://projectjennifer.files.wordpress.com/2012/09/fp_5617426_trg_alen_woody_0823101.jpeg?w=840

Or due to the way the shorts they wear don't fit them quite right, it even looks like the 2 girls might be wearing HAND ME DOWN clothing that was donated to them by WOODY himself. With all of the money that he's made over the years, one would also expect to see them better dressed than they are in this photo. The way she's dressed, Soon-Yi also looks shabby and dowdy as well.

And Most likely they've probably also been treated at some time the same way as WOODY did DYLAN ... after he got UPSET with her for calling him WOODY and then SMASHED her FACE DOWN into the HOT PLATE of FOOD that was sitting in front of her at the DINNER TABLE.

But we probably also won't hear anything about how these other 2 Adopted girls were ABUSED by him until after ALLEN bites the dust. Because they were probably also told he'd WRITE them out of his WILL and leave them NOTHING if they did speak out and say what life has been like for them???

So after ALLEN's gone, my guess is we'll be hearing lots of "DADDY DEAREST" stories from the both of them.
