I feel like the only person who enjoyed this movie :) I've seen it twice and it never fails to make me laugh. I love all Adam Sandler movies, I think it was a success! Why is everyone so critical? Anyone out there that actually like this movie?

I am not, usually a big fan of the kind of comedy that Adam Sandler and/or his co-stars in this movie normally do (I DO ENJOY THEM AS COMEDIANS, HOWEVER!) therefore, when I saw the ads for this one I paid no attention. Until last night or should I say early this morning. (2:30am) Could not sleep, flipping through the channels and caught "Grown-Up's" on some channel I normally do not watch. I missed the first 8 to 10 mins of it but it was easy to catch up. I thought I was hallucinating at first because I was so very tired. However, the longer I watched, the more I enjoyed it. I was laughing so hard that I woke up my husband at 3am so I went out to the living room where I continued to laugh and much to my surprise, cry, a lot! I was shocked to wake up this morning still thinking about it. This movie sparked something in me that I have not felt since I was a kid. So much so that I will be looking for a similar spot for our family vacations from now on, as these are the type of memories/ experience's I want my children/family to grow up having. I will no longer assume that when I see these actors in a movie, I will not enjoy it. Thank you for reminding me to stop & enjoy life with my friends & family and that when I do I'll be creating great memories & traditions for my children to pass on to their families.

I LOVED it too ! So far I consider it even the best comedy movie I've ever watched :)To explain why, I could just say that I like the kind of jokes as in Grown Ups 1 and I hate jokes as in Grown Ups 2. Maybe I have a different taste for jokes :P but I found this movie funny and not too exaggerated. I've seen it 3 times and I could watch it again.
Ps. My favorite comedy movies are : Grown Ups 1, The Ugly truth, Dinner for Schmucks
I loved it! I don't know what all the hate is about. I've been watching it like crazy lately. It takes me back to my childhood when kids were always outside running around having fun. Now all these kids care about is xbox, ps3, and computers. They're totally missing out. It's really sad.
shareI enjoyed this movie too. At first I didnt think I would given the 5 lead actors. But to my surprise the kids, wives, and extra characters made the dynamics of the cast funny. I'd swear Chris Rock disappeared from half the movie, which was a plus in my opinion. Pretty good movie I thought.

I hated it. The previews made it look like one of those movies that has funny people in it, so it should be funny, but it wont be. And thats exactly what it was. The jokes were immature, made up normally of people getting hit in the crotch with things, and other jokes of that nature.
