Too bad! I absolutely adored "WW", and liked "WW2" in spite of its obvious flaws.

WOW!...I AM GONNA THINK OF THIS EVERYTIME I SEE YOUR NAME NOW. NOEMOJI

I'm curious. Did you love those movies, hate them, or other?

reply

I THOUGHT WONDER WOMAN WAS ALRIGHT...NOT GREAT BUT GOOD...I WAS EXCITED FOR THE SEQUEL...I LOVE KRISTEN WIIG,THE 80S...I HATED 84 THOUGH...SO DID MY DAUGHTER...I WATCHED IT A SECOND TIME AND HATED IT EVEN MORE....I DON'T NORMALLY HATE FILMS. NOEMOJI

reply

I found the sequel disappointing at first, and better the 2nd viewing, with some good scenes. But don't worry, I won't try to talk you out of hating it.

reply

Damn, Zaslav ain't playing.

reply

thank god. what a horrible crew on that last train wreck

reply

The first was one of the better super hero movies I've seen. The second was a mess, I've heard. I haven't gotten around to watching it because I've heard it's a major disappointment from so many people.

So I'm kind of indifferent to this news.

wow. sounds like the entire DCEU future is now in doubt (after it was given a boost with Cavill and Affleck allegedly coming back and even talk of a JL2). even Cavill's supposed full on return as Superman in any future films (MoS 2 etc) now seems in doubt? (BA underperforming wont have helped).

in fact it sounds like the original rumoured intention of The Flash movie's resetting/rebooting the timeline might be going ahead? (only no further Gadot or even Momoa filcks beyond whats already done? )

reply

Looks like mightve been jumping the gunn when thinking DCEU was done

Key sentence here:

One studio insider tells us: “At no point was there any pre-conceived notions of not continuing with these actors. It all boils down to how The Flash (June 16) and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (December 25) do at the box office.”

reply

both The Flash and AM2 should do in the 800-1b range. The Flash esp anticipated bc of Keaton/multiverse (plus any previous DC cameos )

reply

Given the controversy surrounding Ezra Miller, I'd be shocked if the Flash movie even makes what Black Adam reached.

reply

Either they don't have access to the same sources as Deadline, or HR is intentionally omitting key details to make it seem like the studio chose to cancel it.
