Why are those disgusting tentacle-head people presented as alluring in Star Wars?

Whenever there is a dancing girl or some other sexy character, she's got that horrible octopus head. They seem to be the Star Wars equivalent of Star Trek's green Orion Slavegirls, who by contrast, actually WERE attractive.

They watched too much tentacle porn and thought this was the best combination, ever. Too bad none of these tentacles have any use or movement. Seems more like that's the type of hair they got which is full of cartilage. I wonder if it can get aroused since it bounces.
