damn things must be bad for Depp when even Burton cant get him cast in stuff

Luos looks like the original cartoon Gomez.

True but I don't think many people know or think of the cartoon. To most of us Gomez is a John Astin/Raul Julia type.

doesn't look anythhing like the cartoon. eye area is completely different and Gomez is supposed to look softer.

I was referring to body shape, height, and ethnicity. You're right the face has no resemblance.

On the other hand ,Catherine Zeta-Jones doesn't look like Morticia.

If they are going with original cartoons as Inspiration he’s a perfect casting for the role.

depp would have ruined this show as Gomez. Luis Guzman is a better actor and comedian in every way compared to depp. the only reason depp is more successful is because he isnt ugly and girls like him. Guzman killed this role just like he killed every other role he was in. He was awesome in Narcos and Boogie Nights so glad other people agree and keep casting him in major roles
