Bautista and Coleman work well together. I would like to see these two together in other films.

This isn't as good as the first one, but I still liked it. Chloe Coleman is quite charming and does a wonderful job here. She has good chemistry with Dave Bautista, who is also effective. The rest of the cast is mixed, with a couple performances falling flat and others being decent. The story is the typical family friendly action comedy, not groundbreaking but still serviceable. There are a few laughs and a couple entertaining action sequences, as well as some sweet, heartfelt moments towards the end. I would be down for a third My Spy movie. 7/10 is my rating.

I thought it was a pretty crap film. Was a bit of a mess.

Dave Bautista should be doing more stuff like 'Final Score' instead of this Disney-lite shit.

I didn't believe the girl would be so tough to blackmail JJ dude, but getting beyond that ridiculousness it left a less of corny aftertaste than others such as The spy nextdoor and perhaps more realistic looking than I Spy.

Edit: I haven't decided yet if I'll watch the sequel
