Deadpool made more than ALL X-men movies at the box office despite the R rating, no release in China, no 3D, small budget for marketing, a character that is not as popular as ex. batman, Superman, Cap, Spiderman...
Ghostbusters 2016 is a failure and an insult to all the fans.

What really worked best with Deadpool was the smaller budget, having an actual script, and keeping the villain on a smaller scope.
It really felt more like a day in the life of Deadpool, despite that it takes place over many years. It never seems to work that way with the other X-Men movies because they try to cram in too much super destruction into the same day.
Essentially just like Ghostbusters 1984 compared to the massive failure that is Ghostbusters 2016.
