DEADPOOL is proof that when you LISTEN TO THE FANS, it works.

Deadpool made more than ALL X-men movies at the box office despite the R rating, no release in China, no 3D, small budget for marketing, a character that is not as popular as ex. batman, Superman, Cap, Spiderman...

Ghostbusters 2016 is a failure and an insult to all the fans.

I hope you guys all boycott!!

Deadpool is one of the worst movies of the year

AMEN OP!

Bitchbusters: Man-haters of Manhattan is the greatest single "fluck you" to the fans of any type of entertainment.

It is as far from the kind of movie the fans wanted than you could ever even imagine.

1.) ALL WOMEN
2.) MAN-HATING FOR TWO HOURS!
3.) FEMI-NAZI AGENDA FOR TWO HOURS!
4.) DICK JOKES AND MORE DICK "DEFEATS"....ending anyone.....
5.) A DIRECTOR THAT LITERALLY BAD MOUTHS AND CALLS NAMES TO ANYONE THAT SAID ANYTHING CONTRARY TO HIS MOVIE MR. PAUL *beep* FEIG.

Yep this is exactly what the fans wanted!!!

I hope this absolutely financially destroys Sony....they have absolutely earned it.

This is true, even moreso when you realize Deadpool was not a great movie by any stretch. It wasn't that funny (the biggest laugh was after the credits) and the villain and several of the supporting players were dull. But fans forgave a lot because it was faithful to the main character in look and tone.

Colonel Miles Quaritch is like some sort of...non...giving-up...army guy!

I thought it was hilarious

And from here on out, Feigfarters will be the; "This is what happens when you intentionally piss your fans off", example.

A film can make as much money as it wants, it's still rubbish.
Avatar, Alice In Wonderland, Titanic, The Dark Knight Rises... made loads of money but none of them were particularly good.

I have to disagree but it depends on what you mean by "rubbish" or "particularly good".

Avatar - A rather dull story that's been told a thousand times before but OMG! LOOK AT THE VISUALS! I saw that in IMAX 3D and the experience was incredible even if it left me with a massive headache. It is a treat for the eyes and a visual spectacle that, as far as I'm concerned, was the best I had ever seen. I bought the Blu-Ray special edition the minute that they announced it which is something I've only done a handful of times for movies I really really really wanted. Don't see it for the story because it's been done before. See it for how it looks.

Alice in Wonderland - I'll assume you're talking about the Tim Burton version with Johnny Depp from a few years back. I have never hidden the fact that I like Tim Burton and his movies. There's a style about them that appeals to me. And this version of Alice is no different. I loved the look of it. I liked the characters. What I wasn't all that pleased with was the script. Is it a good movie? I don't think so, but that doesn't mean it's a bad movie. It's Tim Burton at his Tim Burtoniest. If that appeals to you then take a look if not, steer clear.

Titanic - I don't like this movie but I will admit that it's well made. The sets, the costumes and even the "science" behind it are all top notch. It doesn't help that my girlfriend at the time begged me to take her to see it for weeks on end until I did.

The Dark Knight Rises - This movie sucked all around. I've never liked Christian Bale's Batman and he took the silly Batman voice even further than he did before. Same with Bane. That wasn't Bane. I wanted the roided up freakshow we saw in the Batman Arkham games or the guy from the comic books. What we got was somebody with a funny voice and facemask. I do however give the movie credit for showing the strain that being Batman would put on a human body. It's been theorized that a person could only do that for ten years or so before their body gave up completely and they were bound to a wheelchair.

CapnKaos I have been a Tim Burton fanboy for over 27 years now, and his Wonderland i have to sadly admit was pretty rubbish and he knows it, he only did it to secure funding for Frankenweenie and nothing else. It's a film that could have been made by anyone and wouldn't look any different, and his partly responsible for that bad script and he demands rewrites and changes.. but it was still pants. In the films defence it did well around the award circuit.

Avatar was to showcase the new 3D tech and it did it wonderfully, but that's all it was a 2 hour 3D promo.

For me TDKR was bloated, i hated it took place 8 years later, it means Batman was only batman for about 5 weeks in total, the story had even more plot holes and stupidity then the previous two (although i liked the Begins and Dark knight)

But the list is endless.
Everyone claims to hate Transformers, but they make money and loads of people go to see them. And if the really crap Clash of the Titans remake can get a sequel i'm pretty sure GB can.
