Instead of happy nostalgia, every episode will be about cross-burning, lynching, segregation etc.

In this case, "The Wonder Years" is going to be used sardonically. It is going to be a side-show of endless, monstrous cruelty perpetrated by the vile, evil white man. The young boy's best friend will likely die in an "Emmet Till" influenced incident. White people, watch only if you are into self-hatred and guilt for stuff you had no part in.

White people, watch only if you are into self-hatred and guilt for stuff you had no part in.

You seem to be peddling the "I DONT HAVE TO FEEL GUILTY ABOUT STUFF OTHER PEOPLE DID GENERATIONS AGO!!" line
Which is true.
Why are you so upset about hearing these stories of black oppresion that you had no part in?

Do you feel personally attacked as a white person?
after all ,we all know the wrongs committed in the past were nothing to do with you -
so whats the problem?

Blacks sold their own into slavery (and still practice it to this very day) yet they never (conveniently) feel the need to go back to this point and/or address such issues? They think the evil white man, went over to darkest Africa capturing the poor black folk with butterfly nets. It's (frankly) pathetic....Just like when they kill each other (in record numbers) yet cry 'Black Lives Matter'....Demanding reperations for a slavery they've never endured (from those who never owned them) Demanding majority rule for minority numbers. and bemoaning western countries that NO-ONE is forcong them to stay in, decade-in, decade-out. Blaming every (minor or major) hardship in life (that ALL colours endure) on someone else.

Rant over....anyone care to refute what I've said....Or just call me a racist (chances are you'd be right) because lets face it, the majority of black people aren't particulary 'likeable' are they? (with their constant excuses and overall 'slave mentality')

reply

"care to refute what I've said"
i just dont know where to start
" they never (conveniently) feel the need to go back to this " - thats becasue they prefer to talk about their own situiation in recent history in theior own "civilised" couontry rather than ancient egypt , or whatever backward country still does it t oday

" bemoaning western countries that NO-ONE is forcong them to stay in,"
they were born there . that is their own country

reply

(QUOTE:) "thats becasue they prefer to talk about their own situiation in recent history"

Like I said...."Conveniently" only wanting to talk about Slaves once they were sold (but never WHO sold them?)

(QUOTE) "they were born there . that is their own country"

Which they do nothing but fucking bleat and moan about 24/7

(QUOTE) "i just dont know where to start"

Correction....You know fuck-all about fuck-all.

Can you please share this info with the rest of the Liberals, then?

reply

I think they all know that.
Dont confuse current still-gong-on racism with the past oppression

but you didnt really answer the question.
"Why does a program showing the trials and tribulations a typical black family would have gone through in the 60's upset you so much?"

reply

Let me explain it to you this way. If a show came on about a White family living in Chicago or Detroit, and every week the family members were robbed or raped or shot at by Black criminals, do you think Black viewers would like it?

(Besides, it is PAINFULLY obvious this show is just a race-baiting dog-whistle calculated to cash in on the whole BLM fad.)

If that answer doesn't satisfy you, just chalk it up to racism.

reply

Well , not an ideal analogy , and i'm not saying you should like the show, but i think it has a legitimate place.
Not an ideal analogy becasue the "black criminals in detroit" isnt real historicly correct state sanctioned racism.

Black people might be interested to watch it to remember when "they had it tough"

I think subconsciously there is an element of "white guilt"
white folks dont like to see white folks abusing black folks
despite , or because of , it being real history. albeit not thier (the modern audience's) fault

I mean what happened to the "Never forget" that is etched onto all WW2 memorials?
and phrases like "To deny history , and not learn from it means you are doomed to repeat it "

and yet any attempt to remember the oppression of the black in America up until as recently as the late 20th centuary , and to some degree still going on ....
.. is met with "Stop going on about it!" in some corners

The cross-burning, lynching, etc., etc. will be the first season. By the final season, it will be BLM rioting, looting, vandalism, arson, and assault. A happy ending.

Hollywood was better when racial themed TV and movies came out in clever disguises.

I think it's time they brought back Urkel. I never heard him complaining about the evil white man, he was too busy inventing shit and being funny.
