I bet the libbies hate this movie.

People aren't evil! We can't punish them! We must rehabilitate them!
It's always the parent's fault!
CPS CPS CPS!!!

When you guys get tired of the Rousseau notion and accept man is flawed from day one, you'll realize that there are no solutions, there are only trade offs.

This is human nature guys. Get used to it.
The more you try and hide from it the more it will walk all over you.

I am super liberal. And I had absolutely no empathy for Kevin. I had empathy for the parents, and was pissed she stayed in town, appealed his trial and gave him any sort of pity hug at the end. If she needed an answer of "why" then I get that but she still should have moved out of town and could have flown back before he went to the big house to hopefully get beat the *beep* out of and be in prison for more than just "2 more years" and asked him why then but for real, the way the mom was with him throughout the movie, it proved he was born evil and belonged in prison.

What's sad about the OP is that he has been so conditioned to think that all "libbies" have exactly the same views. Simple black-and-white thinking.
