When did you first discover the Nerd?

For me, it all started one day in 2006 when I was looking for game footage of Who Framed Roger Rabbit on YouTube. I came across a review of the game by the Angry Nintendo Nerd. I liked that name, so I checked it out. I have the NES game and I personally find it fun, although long and challenging. Everything he said made sense, I liked that cursing out Jessica Rabbit part, and he's right, Judge Doom IS impossible.
I then saw he had other videos, so I checked out his Back to the Future review, mainly because I foolishly bought that game at a flea market with the impression that it would be good. James was right on with everything he said. I can't get passed the cafe stage either.
Karate Kid, don't have the game, but I enjoyed the review.
Then I saw his Friday the 13th review. I have that game, bought it the same day as BTTF and under the same impression, and that game was also a pile of sh!t. Now in the intro, I saw a clip from Ninja Turtles and thought, "oh, wow, he reviewed that game too? I GOTTA see that." But Friday the 13th was a cliffhanger, so I had to check out Nightmare on Elm Street first. That game I don't have, but it looks as bad as the Nerd says it is.
Then I saw Ninja Turtles, and it became my favorite. I was laughing so hard.

From then on, I've caught all his new videos and have become a fan. Mainly because we seem to have similar opinions on games.

First one for me was his Top Gun video game review. Been a fan ever since.

It was December 2007, and I found his review of Bugs Bunny's Birthday Blowout, which I thought was very amusing. The first new episode I saw was the Christmas Carol episode.

The first time I discovered the nerd was through his "Halloween" video (where he reviews "Halloween" on the Atari). I remember the first time I watched it... I thought it was the dumbest thing that I had ever seen on the internet. At the time, people who sat in front of a camera, swearing their faces off wasn't really my cup of tea, and I remember closing the video out when he crapped in those kids Halloween bag. I thought to myself "Who honestly finds overly use of cussing and poop jokes like this funny?". After that, I stayed away from his video's for the longest time.

I'm not really sure what brought me to give him a second chance... and I don't even remember what video he did that made me change my mind about him... but I've been watching his video's ever since for about half a year now, and now I'm always anxious to see what his next video will be.

Was looking for Ghostbusters the game on the ZX Spectrum - ran into one of James's videos on YouTube (the review of the NES version). Watched it, and got hooked instantly :)

I had not beaten Double Dragon III:Sacred Stones since 2003; I did not feel like playing through it at the time; I decided to look up the ending on Youtube.
When I hit enter I saw the description "Yeah, Double Dragon was the sh-- but see why the Angry Nintendo Nerd hates the third one; it sounded interesting so I clicked it and liked what I saw and then checked his channel for more and watched everything else on there

It was April 2008 and I just got the Internet for the first time (I was a late one) and this was one of the first ever things I found on You Tube. I watched the Back to the Future video first and liked it, but I was not hooked until I saw the F13th video. Then I watched it religiously until about 2010, when James slowed down I slowed down, I still watch the news ones and I have been watching Monster Madness all month so I still like old James.

My all time favorite is either the two Batman vids or the Halloween vid.
