What if they made this movie without the lame robot aliens?

Like say they did the pub crawl but there was another obstacle like the jerks that used to bully them in high school are also trying to get to The Worlds End. And they have to get there first to get back at them.

Sounds ridiculous I know, but its still alot better than some aliens trying to wipe out the town all of a sudden.

I think I would have liked it less. I would rather be surprised and I like science fiction so it probably would have been more predictable/forgettable for me without that. I also like when a story shows me that things were bigger than I originally thought. I knew there were robots because of the trailers, but I had no idea it would be on the scale that it was.

i don't think that the introduction of aliens was the problem per se, the problem was that those aliens were indeed totally lame, and the storyline got extremely boring and totally unfunny from there on. such a shame.

I absolutely agree. In fact this should have been like Hot Fuzz, in the sense that, yeah maybe there was something wrong with the town,

But the alien robots was too ridiculous. Specially when the robots were not evil, but then They WERE evil, and they left 3 humans live, but then they made other humans into fertilizer....

This movie is a complete mess, I know Edgar Wright wanted to merge two storylines and two different genres, but it Completely BACKFIRED on him.

the movie cannot be enjoyed because the robot storyline is too stupid but the lost friendship and having to grow up story line was too sad and too serious.

both mixed up were not a good match at all. it was too distracting going from one to the other

How can a simple movie leave you so confused? The aliens could be thought of as "evil" for the whole movie, considering that they are willing to exterminate any human who stands in their way. And the only reason they left those three alive was because they specifically weren't interfering with the aliens' plan. Were you drunk when you watched this, or are you just legitimately retarded?

I don't like the way blood money spends.

or both. They shot their wad on those 60 minutes in.
