Just as good as any other country shlub out there. Sings with great pitch and presence as well.

*edit* I posted this almost half a month ago. I get it. He's lip syncing.

Is it really his voice though? It's hard to believe someone with such an screechy voice would sing so deep.

Google it, it's pretty clear it's not his voice. The Kirkham guy said he is a terrible singer in reality.

It totally fits his character, this guy needs to be the center of attention no matter what. Just like when the one worker got her arm ripped off by a tiger and Joe immediately put on his paramedic jacket and pranced around because it's all about him, lol

Was just reading up the other day and forget where I heard it from, but he actually contracted out the singing to a couple different people, each of whom is somewhat famous in their own right.
No, he didn't do any of that singing, but the shots of him on the truck, geared up in his black cowboy outfit and crooning his ass off? Need to re-watch some of that stuff with the knowledge that he's lip syncing, because goddang that's some ridiculous dedication to bullshit lol

That's kind of what I've wondered too...because even in the article it was saying that he was a crap lip syncer...while making the videos, they'd sometimes do up to fifty takes of a particular scene so they could later pick out the one where his lips best matched up.

So you'd think that'd be pretty brazen to do in front of a bunch of grieving people.
But another guy said that they'd all gotten drunk one night and finally pressured Joe into singing a verse from one of those songs...and he was apparently terrible...couldn't even hold a tune, let alone sing like in those videos. Also couldn't play the guitar, which is pretty evident in said videos as well...

So they did a lot of quick-takes, sometimes hid his hands behind grass or whatever...
Yeah if you figure out the funeral thing, holler back here, would ya? It'd be interesting to know if he was that ballsy.

John Finlay confirmed in episode 8 that it is not Joe Exotic signing.
