A 6.6 is a disgrace !

The people I know in person tend to dislike this movie because they find it ridiculous. They were expecting a serious movie and the camp turned them off. I personally really like this movie, I'd give it an 8.5 at least.

Most of the people giving it low scores are scrawly little teenagers who think Ouija or w/e the *beep* it's called is a horror masterpiece, and have no idea that Raimi likes to add humor to his horror films (not that they know who that is).

I agree! This is one of the best horror movies that come to my mind. A unique recipe but it shares something with From Dusk till Dawn, Cabin in the Woods and of course, the Evil Deads. The mixture of comedy and horror is the perfect emotional roller coaster to me. DMTH actually strikes me as more serious than any of the other films listed although the physical comedy was incredible.

Of course everyone has their own tastes and just as importantly, their own moods and expectations of what they are about to see. I've watched movies that hit me wrong the first time but then when I watched them again, knowing what to expect and IN THE RIGHT MOOD, they seemed much better.

Can't think of much I'd change in this movie but I do like a happy ending so I will give it a solid 9/10 and watch it one more time.

I agree, I gave it an 8.... When people give crap like The Conjuring high ratings you know the end is nigh. Drag Me to Hell is in the same vein as many horror classics but people only go to horror movies for the sugar induced adrenaline rush these days.

i even bought it on DVD and watched it at least 7 times! 8/10 from me!
