Did you watch in original or dub?

Dub lacked a lot of the emotions vs the original but at least they got the oh shheeitt slur parts right. It was fun switching back and forth, especially when the Pakistani imitated the loud mouth slut lady in Ep5. He also sounds Indian.

I watched the original, but I felt (Mostly with the main character) that the voice was recorded after filming. There were many times where his lips were out of sync with his voice.

reply

Oh no, that is terrible.
Lips not syncing.
Did you survive such trauma?

reply

I has more chance of surviving Red Light Green Light :)

reply

Original, no subtitles. I have no idea what they were saying. 😂

reply

Obviously, not speaking Korean, I WATCHED it dubbed.

If I wanted to READ instead of watching it, I would have bought a script of it, not a tv show.

Dubbing is the true and only way to enjoy movies in languages you don't understand.
It has been done successfully for almost a century everywhere. Only english speakers find it bad.
Could it be because of their protectionism? Nobody can truly enjoy a movie constantly reading and looking down, while hearing a bunch of gibberish.

If subs were really the best system, won't Hollywood use it for its own films instead of wasting all that effort on dubbing them?

reply

Dubbed. I don't watch movies to read.
