POLL: Do you love Cloverfield or hate it?
I'm in the love camp (well, to clarify, I don't absolutely love it but I still really enjoy it and I've watched it a few times), but I understand why others don't like it.

shareHated it. Ended it with a headache, and not because of the shaky footage, but of the constant screaming. Especially screaming people's names over and over.
Jason! Rob! Beth! Jason! Beth! God! Rob! Jason! God!
Walked out of it in theaters because I couldn't handle the camera shaking and I was just completely uninterested in the beginning of the film. Just noticed it on amazon prime and figured I would give it another go and really in joy ed it. A solid 8/10 for me. Glad I gave it another chance.
sharelove it, i find myself holding my breath and genuinely invested. i watched it tonight and this is my third time
shareI love it overall, though Rob's idiotic quest to save Beth really took it down a couple notches for me.

Absolutely love it. One of my favorite monster movies of all time.
shareFreaking love this movie. The Special Investigation Mode makes this so much more fun to watch. ALL found footage movies should have something like the SIM.I hope Cloverfield 3 will bring back a Large Scale Aggressor (LSA) with the SIM...lol
shareLove it. It's become like a guilty pleasure and the shaky camera work adds to a sense of being there. I think that's why I enjoy most found footage, but I can totally understand why it bothers people.
The monster is so cool too.
Milk...it does a body dead
